We've got an AirBnB booking in, so off in the escape pod to the local camp site this weekend ..... SWMS does 95% of the work/preparation etc to be fair, so she gets to choose how the AirBnB income is spent - this year its on more jobs around the house (labour for the jobs is free ......!!!) and a family trip to Euro Disney at Halloween !!!

Picking up our mh following a repair of Fiat Aircon unit. Cracked high pressure pipe. Thought the dealer's extended warranty would cover it but no chance. "Pipes and hoses" excluded! Slippery insurance again

Lovely Cathedral especially, if like me, you casually walk in there during choir practice. It was mesmerising!

We are in a bit of limbo at moment as, Ralf our dog hasn't been too well this last week. Back in June we had some upsetting news but he's made it towards end of September.
The sad sight is his back legs giving away.

Anyway today seems better so we are thinking we might get a few days away with him, say no more than 2hrs away just in case.

We don't want to cause him any distress but we know he enjoys MHome.

Therefore if he is OK tomorrow we'll book a few nights away from Monday, Hurn Lane looks like the one where we can walk him out in his buggy.

I've never used a German sim.
I think the one in my phone is a UK Giff Gaff...................but what do i know.

Oh, speaking of sims, on arrival at Dubai you get a FREE, meaning no charge (people on here will love that) 10GB sim card..........is that good??

You must have a vpn doing something then, perhaps it's loading at start up and you're not aware of it. Have a pint at the Red Lion for me if it's still there, it's been a long time since I was there

Ha ha, The old Red Lion has long gone. The new RL is further down the SZR (old Abu Dhabi Rd). No atmosphere like the old place.
As for the sims/vpn's, i have absolutly no idea, madam sorts all that sh@t out.
