?Congratulations, Irnbru. Your achievement got me thinking, what do you call someone who is a frequent poster on forums? I know that people who read forums but rarely contribute are called “lurkers” but there doesn’t appear to be a name for people like you. So, I thought that I would call you a POP. Appropriate I think considering your user name. And the acronym stands for Prolific Obsessive Poster. Long may you continue to bash the keyboards.

Not this weekend but next weekend.
Decided to take a couple of days off and venture down to Baltic Wharf for a long weekend.
Any funsters going to bristol

Just missed us, we were there for Xmas, lunch in van, sad that the River Taxi was not running on Boxing day, but we had a nice walk about along the river with a meal & few ciders in Spoons. TV reception was good without the aerial lead. Site fees were "memorable" also:eek:, but hey it was Xmas:giggle:
Have fun
LES

Well, almost Friday again. Was hoping to collect our motorhome this coming Saturday but... the dealer called uup today to report on a boiler fault. It lights but wont stay lit. A part is on order but wont arrive til Monday... Guess what I'm doing next weekend... hopefully :) How will I survive another week of waiting :o

buying a face mask......

buying a face mask......
New Zealand has run out of face masks. Seriously.
I am having to cancel my flight to Guangzhou next month and reorganise my route to northern India. We had intended spending a few days in China. It’s costing me a fortune and proving very difficult to re-arrange as I am currently away in the motorhome and struggling to get a cellphone signal to contact the airlines.

Last week of a 4 week holiday so plotting a route from Montreuil-sur-Mer to Bordeaux, a city I've not visited but feel I should. Going to make a half-way stop tomorrow at either Villandry or Amboise at one of the Camping-Car Park aires. Both have plenty of availability!

We have a phrase in NZ - “a kid in sport stays out of court”. You’re doing a great job Wildbill, and so’s the wee man. Keep it up and he’ll be playing against the All Blacks one day.

We're just back from a couple of nights at the Uphill Wharf Campsite and Marine Centre, just south of Weston-super-Mare, met The Three Amigos as we discovered we were parked next to them. Very quiet campsite and no lights there either. 24 pitches around the lake and we were No.24 right at the end.

Depending on the weather (it's supposed to be dry) we are planning to give the MH its yearly big clean both inside and out. Business permitting, hopefully get away for a few days in the coming weeks.

Traipsing back and forward to the van packing for a month in Spain. Bring it on...

We were meant to be heading to Torridon but bottled out due to forecast

I’ve been laying carpet tiles and generally getting it ready for first trip of 2020 in about 3 weeks, off up to Norfolk, so this weekend I’ll be working ☹

Packing the van for a month in Spain, and trying to control her indoors in what we really don’t need.
I keep telling her there are shops in Spain but it seems to fall on deaf ears

Lots of good quality fresh produce in Spain and much cheaper. We always say they send the rubbish over to us and keep the best for their home market.
