El Rocío for the weekend, then to Seville.

Nope its wet windy and going to be so all weekend in Blackpool with Gales forecast just make sure not on seafront at all! If driving on Promenade watch out for cross winds by the Tower (Victoria St) they are hurricane force if its blowing!

And keep hold of your kiss me quick hat or you will lose it !

Aberystwyth was SO blowy last night - lots of places to park overnight on way back from the CAT but we abandoned plans to do so as wind was blowing us off feet and van was rocking most alarmingly. Now in park for night stop in rahader- quiet tarmac parking near to river Wye ( what 3 words accented.churn.rumbles) Fixed all the gas issues by lighting oven then trying fridge and heating again ( reading the manuals also as last resort helped too!) Home to dry clothes after a spot of breakfast, van and selves tested for trip to Scotland after window mended ?. Have good morning peeps

Off to Eindhoven for the weekend, for second round of World Motocross, MH has only done 45 miles since it came back on a truck after a trip from Frankfurt, at the end of last year.

Woefully underprepped, topped the water up, checked its got gas . Too cold to do owt else.

Preparing MH for our first week-long trip, :oops:planning to do North and MidWales coast then through to Shrewsbury area. Any ideas for stopping places would be appreciated ALSO places to AVOID.

Still working on the van. Dropped wife off this morning to help someone else paint their railings .

Both of us have spent all day washing and polishing the van, as it has to live outside we like to get a thick coat of polish on it at least a couple of times a year and wanted to do it before it gets too hot. Glad that’s over and done with for a while!

Try “Baskerville Hall” back in the day the original owner was a very good friend of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (the author of Sherlock Holmes) this IS in actual fact where CD wrote “The Hound of the Baskervilles”, apparently the then owner said to CD “don’t put this place in the book or I’ll have loads of tourists visiting, this is not a hotel” which it is now, but they have a large car park area and lower field to camp in, with water taps, narrow country lanes though, we go there to a motor bike rally annually, so they also do rallies.
Enjoy ?

Just down in Weymouth opening our static caravan up for the year, only had it for 6 months and its fully rented out for this season except for 2 weeks left in the 6 weeks holiday which i know will sell.

I like it down here when its nice and quiet between oct and march when we use it and dont let out over this period

Stopped in Anglesey as part of our first full week away in Smileo.
Wind has finally dropped and rain stopped long enough for the sun to set!!
Might get to see the whole reason behind this game ?

Chippie 63 and Archer are visiting me in Buckinghamshire this weekend :party2:
:welc::welc:

Just had an email from my stadium boss saying I could have my week end . Mind you all the get together and /or parties are cancelled so very quiet stadium to come this week end. Therefore.... I have decided that I was going to have that week-end I dream of...All on my own, eating good home made meals and mainly SLEEPING , and hopefully without any children shouts around!
So I have decided not to go too far away, country side, with a river if possible and I found the perfect place for me! It's a Camping Car Park aire. I still have quite a few euros on my pass card so there: Roquecourbe will be my destination. I will take pics to post on here. If wifi is strong enough I will post them straight away, if not, then you'll have them on Monday.
I can't wait! I really can't wait , I so need peace and quiet!
I wanted to put a link but it keeps giving my account ... they do not want me to disconnect! :whistle2:
EDIT : Intend to put on the windscreen : Self confined! I might even spit on people if they try to speak to me!:dance2:
