Had a great weekend "camping" with friends. I didn't feel guilty at all :ROFLMAO:

We visiting friends and family albeit in the car but at least it's a weekend away from home!

Will be “fitting out” our new motorhome.

Additional shelves in cupboards, where required. Retainer strip for things in bathroom cabinet so they can’t fall out when the doors are opened. False floor to cupboard where pipes and wiring cause obstruction.

Two additional lights in position of our choice although it is generally well lit.

Strips to floor of “garage” to hold plastic boxes in place while travelling.

Might actually get to use it soon!

In between booking and working on route to Spain and probably Spain in January, I am still helping my son out making a bedroom in his Bungalow loft usually working 2 days a week including holidays it's been over a year project, just a warning to others contemplating cutting and fitting Celotex especially above your head, wear googles as I think it is the fibres that has given me a really bad bloodshot eye.
Another year hopefully will see bedroom finish !!:LOL: :(
 
I do envy you retired folk, it must be great to be planning to drive to sunnier climbs for winter and be in no particular rush to get anywhere. I can't wait for our time to come (Some 10 years away yet I fear) God bless you all and keep on keeping on :cool:
 
Was to have been in Edinburgh for a few nights but discovered the fuel filter dribbling my diesel away whilst checking the van over. Van booked in next week at a local workshop. Looks like the local tomorrow evening instead of Rose Street!
 
Off to 'the Barn at Beal' on the Northumberland coast.overlooking Holy Island.
Fantastic views & will be having a lovely meal & a pint or 2 in the restaurant .

Drove up to The Lakes today staying in our favourite lakeside hotel with a bottle of rosa. The drive up was interesting with roadworks fog and whatever they could throw at us. My lovely lady disappeared for ten minutes she came back after a bit of negotiatingan with the poor man on reception we are stopping for the week with full board so here we are. She is good like that.?

My sons partners birthday today, so took them and 4 kids for a Spoons breakfast.. tomorrow lunchtime I fly to Tenerife for 10 days.. I count my blessings...

Went a few years ago.. loved it.. will return and do 'real' India before chilling out in Goa or Kerala in the future
 
After a lovely week touring everywhere north of Watford Gap and finding some incredible places we are now back brushing shoulders with civilisation in Norfolk staying at Kings Lynn. We will be visiting my sister tomorrow in Norwich before returning home tomorow night. We made a point of visiting places that we have not been before and at one point rubbing shoulders with old moo. Had a great week that I will tell you a bit more about when I get back to my lap top,
 
Well it's almost Christmas so I'm on the local Canal on one of the Trip boats as boat crew for the Santa Specials.
Our boat the NB John Varley II is just about fully booked up until the weekend before Christmas and then it's the new year party trip
