Spent today helping our daughter rip out fence posts and panels. Then we dug and concreted in 5 new posts. Monday will most likely consist of helping put the panels up. The things you do for your kids

Tomorrow will be spent doing housework...weather forecast is dire.

Tuesday morning after the BH traffic has settled down....we set off on our four and a half hour journey to Canterbury P&R....Wednesday morning we catch the 07:50 train through the tunnel then we head west in France for a meander down just as far as La Rioja to pick up some nice wine, calling at friends near Poitier on the way.

Just finished fitting my SOG toilet system. Had to read the instructions about a dozen times, but it went in a treat. Feeling very proud of myself.

Big thanks to @Carol & Eddie for allowing us the use of their awning to view the races in the appalling weather

Your were very welcome do have to say we have got a bit of a plum spot.

Just back from the Sunshine Festival at Upton Upon Severn. Third trip out for the Campscout and had a great weekend. A bit of concern for the Fiamma awning with the wind levels, but all was good. A fair bit of mud on the site, but got out without any issues. After reading of water pump failures, I already had a spare on board which was pressed into service to fix my friend's failed pump on their caravan, so they were happy!

It was a great festival, at a pretty good price, and no extra charge for having a motorhome (which was unusual).

And on my way home, had my first wave from another motorhomer!

We are parked up at Mikki's Place Portugal... ..to you all it is an awful place, cramped pitches , fish pond to swim in ... expensive to boot .... ok I own up I have to eat back my own words of the past....

It is fab here, big change since the start of it

Best aire of all Algarve ... darn I have let the secret out now !

We will be enjoying the wonderful freedom here and great facilities for a few days yet

Sitting in the sun.. swimming in the lovely pool and having a sundowner with the friendly folk here and great meals here
