We are at Black Horse farm in Folkestone. Going through the tunnel on Tuesday. Heading towards the Mosel river and this time we will start near Trier and go all the way to koblenz.

Any suggestions about places to visit moving on from koblenz.

Off tomorrow to THS at Abingdon for 6days probably on to THS at Woodstock, Evesham then to Lechlade on Thames to have Rejuvenation valet on motorhome then back home on 20th August for Grandaughters 28th
 
Volunteer.... so no charge... wow... never looked at the price...even if its a couple with Festival entry thats steep.... its a bloody lovely place and a great festival..

Off to Stroud for the weekend to pick up the grandkids who are coming to stay for a week at our home.
 
Joe's doing some work on his Discovery on Saturday; Sunday we are going to our daughter's to pick up some stuff to take to our grandson's on Monday, when we'll be helping him to move into his first flat.

Will we be picking up the new to us Moho on Friday or Saturday? Don’t know yet, the dealer hasn’t got back to us as promised! Don’t know if we need to book for Friday night! Frustrating!
 
trying to have a home clean out we have way too much stuff. boxes in garage i don't think have been opened for 12 years! will pass as much as i can onto sons, it may well be the only inheritance they get.

He 'phoned and said Noon on Friday so I re-arranged the start date of the new insurance and tried to book for a couple of nights away.

He has now 'phoned to say that they are not ready and can't see us until Tuesday next week.

Now depressed and going to get myself a beer!

Ralph’s re roofing our izzis garage . Fibreglass like he did ours at home.
 
Not away THIS weekend - Malvern next week so loading up shopping and also attending our Petanque club as the Area where it's based is having an open weekend to encourage use of the open park areas So we will be playing Petanque

Its the village "Festa" ( An endless supply of wines and beers.... Oh and Lamb or..... Bacalao:eek::eek::eek::eek:).They join in with Portela the next village....where the Cafe,bread shop,general store is....We are well known/remembered from our first visit to the Festa 3 years ago (And in between);)
How times have changed,in Derbyshire,a taxi owner mate used to deposit me home laying on the floor of his mini bus...How are the mighty fallen,tomorrow (If all goes to plan :whistle:) I will be thrown into the back of a Peugeot estate or my/our? Dacia logan MCV estate,driven down the cobbled streets to the lakeside,they will open the hatchback,reverse at speed,brake and send me slithering off down the lane into the River.Why do somethings never change(n)

Started to fit a SOG toilet system but its to hot out there 35c. So came in for a cold beer. After reading the instructions about ten times I think I have just about worked it out. Well, that was before having a drink.
 
Popped up to Norwich yesterday to see my sister, Norwich has a lot going for it. Sat out in the pub garden of the Chef and Brewer right on the riverside, had something to eat then we had a competition who could get the most wasps in a glass. My son managed ten, good entertainment for half an hour. He let them all go before we left....(y)

Dash board dismantled to run new speaker cables to new tweeters and new door woofer speakers, sound deadened the inside of the Fiat front doors as they were like biscuit tins. Now the doors slam shut like a Mercedes limousine:) Took me 3 hours to fish new cables from doors to inside the van, so much metalwork and ducting in there, and loads of wires and cables also:eek:.Scratched my arms to bits!!!
Will run new RCA mid and sub cables from new double din radio head unit to the separate remote amps tomorrow, TV is now installed & wired up. I think it should sound pretty decent after tuning the amplifier gain controls, and low & High Pass filters.
Yea I Know its might be OTT to some, but I just love a good sounding system, with a nice clear sound stage
I.m knackered now, so hot out there, it hit 35 in the van today.
Then on Tuesday/Wednesday I have the new 200 watt solar panel, and Victron Regulator to fit, just hope the Sikaflex I ordered on Amazon shows up in time as we are off to the Lymington Rally on Friday.

On Saturday we are off on a cruise to the fjords to celebrate "youngests" 21st Birthday, soooooooo excited (y)
