What are you up to this weekend?

Unfortunately Brian this is a common sight in our depot
Brian & Jo

That’s normally how I use to find the works vans when they were due in for the MOT or service mentally of some people that do not have to pay for tyres or repairs use to amaze me.
Glad I am out of it because you can guarantee that if they had an accident they would try to blame the employer!!

I think the NEC on Saturday - senior management’s sister has bought a caravan; Tut!!!

Yep nec for us too on Saturday
New set of mirror guards as I cracked the off side one and obliterated my opponents mirror
Some Thetford seal spray and a look around the rapido and burstner stands

We are going on Thursday, just to look at accessories (toys) for new van.
Driving up in car, taking own refreshments this time.
I am hoping to get some discount offers on air suspension, solar panels and controllers etc.
Any chance do you reckon?
Hope to meet some of you up there but we dont have any funster badges to wear, but I will probably be the one that looks most lost, clutching the floor plan layout and going the wrong way.
Need a bloody sat nag in that place, but I hear Dusseldorf is even bigger.
Have fun everyone.
Les

Hi we are going on Thursday and we too do not have Funster Badges. We have asked several times how we obtain these and Funster stickers but don’t get a helpful response, or any response for that matter.

I know that if you send a SAE to @Jim, he will send out some stickers for your van, not sure about lapel badges though. hopefully get some on our first rally next month.

Thank you. We are newbies to Funsters and need helping around the site for access to information etc. We will get the hang of things!!

Were off to northam farm in Brean on friday for the weekend possibly a spot of fishing maybe some nice walks along the sand but most definatly visiting a watering hole or two for some light refreshments

We were at Unity Farm Brean until leaving this morning. For three days it rained, was cold and windy - generally quite miserable. But hey it is still only the middle of February. Guess what the sun came out very early this morning - It was a lovely bright but fresh morning. It continued for our journey home right up to sunset tonight, typical! We are never upset by the weather, it never stops us from doing anything we want to do. We don the weather appropriate clothing and get out there!!

Went to NEC yesterday, bought nothing, had a good look round though. Saw mats we wanted, but will get them at Peterborough as easier to get them to the van that way.

We’re having a nice easy relaxing one at Hawes. Booked in at the White Hart Saturday night food wise .
No doubt we shall be walking a bit, chilling a bit, and drinking a bit
We love our hobby

Heading across to the New Forest. Not quite decided where yet but probably Setthorns or the place near by, something to do with fishing and lakes.

They are the only hard standing places with EHU I can find. Open for suggestions anyone, forest camping with hardstanding and EHU?

Pub stop planned enroute, may be Worlds End, depends how far we get.

I would also like to visit the north part of the forest, looking for a place near Nomansland area. Again, open for suggestions.

Greenhill Farm Camp site - about 2 miles from Nomansland, direct access to New Forest, fishing on site

We have stayed there several times and like it

Had a lovely time in the Cotswolds...isn't it just wonderful in cold icy weather being snug and warm in the MoHo:D

Travelling to France/Spain for some sun, we hope.

We were due to travel to Canterbury P&R on Thursday, taking the Tunnel on Friday.

Now rescheduled to travel over on Saturday and Tunnel on Sunday due to the weather conditions. A couple of weeks meandering down to Malaga to meet friends then two months in Spain/Southern France before arriving in Burgundy at end of April or early May.

Weather dependent, heading to Crystal Palace club site on Saturday, to help my son get through his supply of liquid red over the weekend, all in the name of helping him celebrate his 34th :D
