After a couple of weeks of absolute luxury on the high seas we’re off for a couple of night of absolute loveliness in ‘Holly’ having booked into Riverside Campsite in Monifieth for Saturday/Sunday nights.
Electric bikes on the back, reasonable weather forecast and miles of cycle tracks between Arbroath and Broughty Ferry with ample opportunity to rest, eat and drink along the way.
That’s the plan anyway....

Saturday night at the C&MC site at Malvern.

Sunday, visit the Antiques Fair at Malvern Showground then on to the C&MC site at Moreton-in-Marsh, where we used to live in the 1980's. Two nights there, including a visit to the Market, then home and start preparing for a trip to France at beginning of December.

We will be orf to Setthorns in the New Forest tomorrow, for the 'bonfire' weekend, so our two doggies don't have to suffer the noise and terror of fireworks!

We go to Setthorns each year at this time, enjoying the tranquility of the forest, and the hospitality of the pubs in Sway!!

It's a hard life, but someone's got to do it!!!

Not quite this weekend, but last weekend we went to Wales for the WRC Wales Rally GB.
I could not find the battery charger for my Nikon digital SLR so had to make do with my little Sony compact which struggled a bit with high speeds and low light but here's a few shots of the old school rally cars for the older ones amongst us.

The last cars though were the forces Land Rover teams of the Royal Air Force, Army and Royal Navy.

Just arrived this afternoon at a CL in Dumfries & Galloway.Nice little site but the entry lane is not for the faint hearted or short tempered anyway got in with the car behind after having a few words with a plonker in a Mercedes car who decided it was easier to reverse a 29ft Motorhome with a tow car on than it was to reverse a Mercedes car We are here until Tuesday so are going to explore the area
