Early train from Stanmore, get into London early and see some of the Christmas lights before it gets light. Then stop for some breakfast before doing a bit of shopping around some of the big department stores. A few brownie points involved here....

Playing golf on Saturday in our clubs annual Scotland v England match here in Hants - for the sake of equal (ish) numbers for both sides the the Scottish border is temporarily extended South a tad - to around the Thames!!

Then a Haggis & Neeps dinner in the club in the evening where I will be doing the Burns address to the haggis - suitably kilted nof course (me that is not the haggis, I assassinate it by stabbing it!!

Alcohol may be taken!

Home Sunday to drop the van into active leisure our local elddis dealer so he can take a look and some photos of the broken step to get authorisation on a warranty claim

Mrs is off to Butlins big weekend at Bognor. I’ll be staying at home and getting all the Christmas lights up outside.

Going to Brugge on Saturday for 2 nights, then to Valkenburg for 4 nights (we'll be visiting Cologne while here) then back to Brugge for 2 nights. Christmas markets here we come
