Had a fabulous first weekend in the new to us van. Found out how everything works and no surprises! Got a list of bits to do like clean the pipes and fresh water tank but otherwise really thrilled and looking forward to making so many more memories.

We went to Wells-next-the-sea for a long weekend.:D Weather held and pinewoods campsite was pretty empty and quiet.

Going to Calshot Friday Night for Saturday Kayaking and Windsurfing.

Probably start with the wee-mans ruby game on Friday then just bugger off in the van might go Derbyshire way this
time.
Find a nice bit of white water somewhere or even a lake or canal haven spent much time over that way sure theree must be some nice places

On our way to the north coast 500, though it will take us a lot more than the weekend. It has already been thre days from South Wales an we have only just made Scotland!

My Granddaughter and her friend just popped in she was a bit tipsy, she had been in London today for a meal at Sticky Fingers. A one off payment gives you an unlimited supply of Perseco and a meal which she said was good.
She said the restaurant is owned by a Beatle then changed it to a Rolling Stone :) but had no idea which member it was, So Granddad googled it and she was right. Sticky Fingers is owned by Bill Wyman.
Well that's a bit of useful information for you all to sleep on, good night...;)(y)

Just arrived in Benicarlo to meet up with @JaG @BrentnElaine and some others sorry forgot your member names

We should have been at the Derwent Arms in Osbaldwick but there was speedway on tv last night and formula 1 on tv today so we are housebound in Scammonden...

The fact that I know the results of neither, because we were in Belgium all weekend, and nobody on my Facebook cares, means we watched the Elite League play off last night, and have the GP from Torun for this evening...

We're off to Minehead caravan club site Friday until Monday then Northam Farm Brean for the rest of the week which will include fishing, walking and drinking a beer or two happy days

NOTHING... after 6 weekends away on the bounce, 3 in Europe and 3 here , we are staying well and truly put.

We are at the Grand Designs show on Friday / Saturday, then off to Cadbury World on Sunday...

All the calories worked off walking around the NEC on Friday / Saturday.. will all be put back on again on Sunday... Lovely Jubbly :D

I'm working on Saturday morning so we may find somewhere to go on Saturday afternoon for the night as the weather forecast is very good

I bet you enjoyed the speedway last night more than we did... Painful to watch ...

Had to work the last 3 weekends so this Friday we are taking the Moho to Arundel to spend the night. We are going to wander around the farmer’s market Saturday morning hopefully buying something for lunch. Then off to Chichester to a lovely CL site we’ve booked for another night. Roll on Friday

We are off to Canterbury park and ride on Saturday morning ready for an early tunnel crossing on Sunday morning. Then
we are heading to Ypres for the day staying for one night here

Finally heading to the tunnel for a late afternoon crossing!:)

(May 2017 Swift Bolero FB724)
Tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon we are heading down to Maidstone, where we are staying the night on the Golf Club CL, because Friday morning we are booked into Autowatch in Maidstone to have the alarm sorted. Ever since new in May this year we have not been able to unlock the habitation door with the Autowatch remote control, nor will it set the habitation alarm. We have been back to dealers several times and they say the alarm is not fully compatible with the motorhome, whereas Autowatch say their 696RLC is fully compatible with the Motorhome. As it means a 400 mile round trip to Maidstone, we are going to the tunnel when Autowatch have finished and spending 10 days in France.

off to East Sussex on Friday for a week. fishing, eating , drinking, scrabble, sleeping, not always in that order:D
