What are you up to this weekend?

Grandson bext doors birthday on Sunday but I will be working so I'll go over saturday & drop off present.

Hopefully not too much this weekend, I'm working next weekend and then the following weekend I start replacing my sisters kitchen, family can always find jobs for me to do!

Fitting my new Oyster V courtesy of Jackson Satellites supplied at super high speed (paid Monday - got Tuesday afternoon). In between sifting about 5 tonnes of compost for SWMBO, so there is room for this years leaf crop...

Hopefully putting our kitchen "stuff" back. The Kitchen fitters are almost finished but they are going to have to work very hard to finish by end of day tomorrow. I really must be brutal when putting things back as we have much too much stuff. I tend to keep things as "we may need them in future".
Having a new kitchen fitted is quite an upheaval. Luckily we don't have it done often!!!

Off to Oxford in the morning for three nights , visiting SWMBO’s elderly aunt and uncle. In the days before we had a motorhome this would have been a mad dash there and back in a day. Now it’s an excuse for a mini-break:

Heading off to the sunshine (hopefully) on this monster....

We exchanged our MH early July . Have had some ongoing problems which have gradually been dealt with by the vehicle supplier . The last bit hopefully today , then we will wander off somewhere for the weekend to give it another once over, to be sure its ready to tackle autumn and winter use , both on and off grid.

Off to Burry Port for a couple of nights and looking at the general forecast, I'm hoping it has it's own micro climate..........:D

Early weekend for us as in Today Friday.

Moving our Son and his Girlfriend out to their new house :Grin::Grin::Grin:

Maybe I can get my gas and electric bills back under control. Im just glad I'm not on a water meter the amount of time they spend in the shower :banghead:

Off to meet 3 school friends who I've not seen for 35 years....a bit nervous if I'm honest!

Got a 4 1/2 hour drive to the venue (a hotel at Gatwick airport) but one is coming from Canada (and tying it into a business trip), one from Scotland and one from Ireland so I suppose I've got the easy journey!

Oh we so know how you feel. Our son and girlfriend move out in a couple of weeks too ... Can't wait! He is also excited about being able to put the heating on as long and hot as he liles, showering as many times in the day and not being moaned about wet towels everywhere. Will give him a month before he starts complaining about how expensive things are!!

hopefully will finish fitting the new 40" tv in the rv, and a 28" one in the bedroom.

i can then watch the football and swmbo can watch her soaps.:):)

First couple of nights out in the Talbot. Went to Pwhelli estuary, Abersoch, llanbedrog, Trevor and a night near home on the north shore road at Caernarfon. Steep learning curve. Great van to drive but all the narrow lanes in third didn't do the fuel consumption much good!

Yep until the first bill comes in :)

At one point I thought SWMBO was running a B and B without telling me.
She was doing all the washing, ironing, cooking, cleaning and I was doing all the paying out.

what a grate weekend started with Friday the wee-mans rugby drax school v Scarborough colege
Then a weekend kyaking
drax 35 Scarborough 5
this is the mach report
What a difference a week can make. 7 days earlier, the U11's wereon the receiving end of a heavy defeat, coming up short in tackles, aggression, rucks and support, amongst one or two other areas, against Terrington. But today we were a different beast. Theboy swere much stronger and sharper this afternoon and took thegame to Scarborough from the very first whistle. Throughout theside, all 9 boys showed much more desire to tackle, support theirteam mates and look after the ball. On another day, Scarboroughmay have scored 3 or 4 tries but, despite periods of pressure, they didn't quite have enough to break down Read. It is, of course, taken as a compliment when the opposition teacher congratulatesour boys on their strong tackling and quick breakaways when inpossession of the ball. While praise is given to all of the boy stoday, captain isack.B
was instrumental in so much of our good playand deserves his mention. The Year 5 boys also performedadmirably against a predominantly Year 6 Scarborough squad, who struggled to catch the jet heeled jay.M and Edward as theyalso chipped in with a couple of tries. A very pleasing day at the office and we should look forward with confidence to anotherhome game next Friday afternoon. Well done boys.
