A few of our day today at Pateley Bridge.

It was a bit drizzly but we managed a 7 mile walk with a couple of pubs thrown in. Then back to Pug for our first ever ( in the van )leg o lamb in the oven !
Done with a whole bulb of garlic and potatoes in foil with medeteranian veg . Followed by sherrry trifle and a nice bottle of red .

We did feel a bit guilty on our way back to Pug , knowing we had a leg o lamb cooking in our oven , when we were cooing over these little lovelies . Sorry Joy xx @movan

Friend of ours always goes out on Easter Sunday for a pub crawl. He wanted us to go but we had plans:)40 of them met up at 10am today in the first pub. Just had a call from him now 9.30pm still crawling and absolutely wrecked. Who's a clever boy for not going.....;) No headache for me tomorrow...:)
 
Just booked the weekend at Inverewe Gardens CCC as we make our way back down the west coast towards Skye to catch ferry over to the islands.

This weekend restocking van and cleaning it after chester ready for the
bank holiday weekend at Bosherston
pembroke overlooking beach wildish camping looking forward to it.
 
Getting my house re-organised after moving everything out to allow for tenant's furniture - putting it up for sale in May. Measuring up for new curtains in my MOHO and going out for a practice drive in said MOHO.

:(:( Going home after a great two weeks away for our first time abroad in BanHam. Still, got an ever so fast growing grandson to see later tomorrow:D2:D2
 
Well we were going to Whitby Goth :clap2::drink::party2:

But MIL ( very selfishly :wink:) ended up in hospital :Eeek: and they're hopefully letting her out sometime this weekend after an operation . So we have to be about just in case they do.
So we can't go, :crying:.
At least she' s on the mend and will be able to finally get some rest once out of the hospital and back in her own house.

Anyway upshot is Ralph is getting on with building a retaining garden wall at our other little house.
Our daughter ( who lives in it) is wanting to get using the garden. Which at the moment , because Ralph is landscaping it, is a right mess.
He's had his mini digger in and its a mound of old flags ,bricks, mud , pulled up conifers , rotten tree stumps, old decking and broken up sheds .....
So looks like I'll be playing at being a proper nurse for Dot, and doing a Sunday roast ( for 5/7 ) instead of galavanting around Whitby as a cyber goth PVC nursey !

I'm Painting fence panels yippee :eek: wishing I was at Peterborough, but cant really as van is due for mot service and cam belt change on Monday.:):)
 
I will be realising I am too old for all this ..... full time baby sitting ... exhausted, worn out, shattered, nerveshredded, aching, desperate, brain dead, collapsed in heap on floor... :sleep:

Taking the van to Haverfordwest for its first MOT, booked in at a pub for the previous night and will probably have a couple of days around the area - but nothing planned for the extra days though - see what turns up and where the fancy takes us.

Just in and had lunch,roast beef and yorkie pudding(y),busy morning today,up at 6-30am washed the Motorhome and dried it off,cut the front hedge ,went to salop leisure to get a calorlite bottle cos one ran out last weekend ,watered all the outdoor pots,took the rubbish down to the tip.just watching a little of the London marathon and then 3 cars to wash.(y)

Not away this weekend due to working , managed to get the motorhome washed though and hoovered out all set for another weekend somewhere Perthshire area get some fly fishing done , still haven't managed to get two new front tyres yet undecided on continental vanco camper tyres or the four seasons ones worried about these ones as they don't say camper on them or will they be okay ????

Xmas in Scotland lol then might as well stay for new year and have a hoolie on Hogmanay
