Garlieston C&MC site, Dumfries & Galloway. First time to that area. Think there's going to be a lot of "first times" now we have the motorhome

Off by car to no.1 Son who, having just retired, has just taken delivery of his brand new,first motor home. I need a bit of being envious time, he needs a chat about the finer points of motor homing and I'm sure we'll both need a few beers.

Taking the brand new Auto Sleepers Broadway out for three nights to try it out for the first time Only going about 7 or 8 miles from home (the wife has three ponies and needs to pop home daily to check them out) but it looks like a lovely site with nice views.

We're on Lyndon Top, Rutland Water.
Been here since last Weds, last weekend was fantastic weather, sat in sun & got our tans started.
This weekend-windy, cool to cold, showery, a typical Easter!
There's a lot of vans, etc. and rallies here but still loads of room, a fabulous site of about 112 acres, no EHU, park where/how you like, walking/cycling round the reservoir. A real chill-out spot!

Arrived in the afternoon with Max my moho, to stay at my parents for the whole weekend (and easter monday too), hoping to take some hard work out of my mum's daily chores. Right now looking after dad ( he s having his meal) while mum is having a nice and warm bath. Only my very small phone with me, phablet and puter are in Max!! So no fancy writing nor smileys!
