What are you up to this weekend?

This Saturday I am taking my wife for lunch in France.

Daughter is going to be away on a school trip.

The romantic gesture is going down very well(y)

I haven't mentioned yet the slight detour to Belgium to buy some fags:)

Britstop at Ballantrae on Friday night for dinner and drinks as I will be picking Elaine up from work in Glasgow around 5pm before heading down to New England Bay for a few days of laziness.

We are going to spend the weekend at Garielston lodge site great wee site pub in village, have a wee walk with the dog just chill , and buy some of there own home grown pork mmmm have a good one folks
 
Weather looks better in Normandy than here this weekend so made a tunnel booking tonight (Frequent Traveller) and will head to La Mailleraye-sur-Seine for a few nights and one night in Montreuil-sur-Mer on the way back.

Down to Pembrey Country Park for a couple of nights, with a visit to the National Botanical Garden of Wales on the way home.
 
Off to Ayr in the van on Friday to attend the 17th Ayrshire Real Ale and Cider Festival in Troon. This year over 150 ales on offer plus cider. Recovery on Sunday then home.
 
Saturday I have my final competitive event of the season, HSA sprint at Curborough near Lichfield. After thatvwe're making a dash to Vyrnwy with friends for a cheeky night wild camping.

Off to Castleton ABW on the CC site , a walk up lose Hill and Mam Tor Saturday and a pub meal (6 pubs to choose from so undecided yet!!)
 
Off to Felixstowe for an 80s weekend with my mate and his wife,,, if all goes well I will not be able to post ( due to lack of eyesight) for a couple of days!!!

Bringing in the harvest! Ex brother-in-law has a vineyard near Henley on Thames, fresh air, hard work, great food and perhaps a small glass of award wining vino - happy days!

(followed by celebratory and obligatory beer and curry...very Anglo-Italian)
 
Packing the van having just got results for the wife,s problem so we can now get to Spain at last using the tunnel first

:smiley: Cleaning the van now we're home again after 4 great weeks in France. Then planning next trip overseas :smiley: which will entail much research via Fun as we really must try to get down further next time and not get sidetracked by beautiful villages, excellent beaches and superb Aires along the way which keep cropping up and impede progress towards southern France
 
Not sure what we are doing but it wont include crossing the channel, not at one pound for one euro.....;)
 
Getting ready for a trip south through Shropshire, Somerset and Devon then up to @eddievanbitz for some goodies on the MH the following Monday, then over to see my daughter in Hampshire who by that time, should have produced my first grandchild :dance2::dance2:. Happy days (y)
