Vaccine Passports..

Sure, no problem with the need to show a proof of jab card (or phone app).

If I was running a company I'd be issuing staff with a "No Jab, No Job" notice now.
Though I'm not sure how enforceable that will be down at the local pub or the travelling fairground.

I already have a yellow booklet with all my jabs in it, Hepatitis, Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Polio, Tetanus, Malaria, etc.
You used to need the yellow books to enter certain countries, mine was issued in Hong Kong in the 1990's.

When I went to get my COVID jab i bought along the book, the Irish nurse just looked blankly at it, by her HK assistant simply picked it up and stamped it in the correct place.

So I now have a UK COVID Card and an internationally recognised Yellow Book that lives with my passport.

I’m pretty sure the local pub or travelling fair ground or any other business are allowed to refuse to serve/admit anyone they want without giving a reason.

What about the virus mutating tho? Say I got on a return plane with someone who had not had the vaccination and had picked up a mutated version aboard or had “brewed“ the virus so it became vaccination resistant, I could catch that?
I think you will always find a way that you could catch it. Maybe best to stay at home forever.

Do you think you will be able to get a Jab Passport on e-bay from a printer in Wuhan ??
Asking for a mate
What is it that makes people on here petrified of vaccine passports being forged but not being petrified of real passports being forged?
What makes them think vaccine passports will be forged anymore than any other document?
They don’t seem to worry about forged driving licences for instance. Strange people!!

The biggest problem I see is the young ones are going to be last on the vax list & they are the big foreign holiday spenders , are Spain / Portugal etc going to refuse them entry if they can’t gat a vaccine

Cant catch a potentially lethal virus from a normal passport and probably won’t be able to travel without both.
Of course a vaccine passport will be forged by the anti vaxxers to enable access to many things.

As I posted earlier if the govt issued HMgov/nhs vaccine passports they could show age and medical exemptions.

Not according to the scientists they are saying the chances of having Covid are 98.5% against and the chances of transmission vastly reduced.
You do seem to be one of the ones that only see the negative in this.
My mate and his along with all others being vaccinated were forcefully told that it did not prevent them catching it but if they did they wouldn't probably know .

Wether or not you have the vaccine, your still a potential carrier.
Never forget it could be a mandatory location chip next if this becomes mandatory.
Beware of what you wish for.

Can’t catch a potentially lethal virus if you’re vaccinated. Unless you’re very, very negative and have decided you’re in the 1.5% not covered by it.
I notice you didn’t mention all the unqualified drivers using forged licences. They’re just as lethal and you cannot be vaccinated against them.

Stay indoors, I'm sure you'll be okay then.

Just line the walls and roof with lead to be sure.

You’re are definitely one of the people desperate for the vaccine not be effective aren’t you? It’s been shown in trials in Israel to be 98.5% effective in preventing the vaccinated from contracting Covid and vastly reducing the chances of transmission due to the vaccinated not having the virus so unable to transmit something they don’t have.
Why don’t you want the vaccine to be effective?

I do not think it is that important what we think about vaccination passports, what will matter in the end is what the world as a whole decide. If enough countries decide to have documentation proof, we must follow, or fall on the travelling wayside.

Perhaps a chip in the vaccine. But it is a very thin needle.😀

ok , But the point I was making was they are still at the end of a very long queue

If you prove a medical/health reason not to be vaccinated, fair enough.

If you simply don’t want to be vaccinated then your decision must be respected, and you must live with the consequences.

I'm in favour of a jab passport but they shouldn't be allowed to deny entry to those without one yet. Not until everyone has been offered the jab. I expect to be one of the last it's offered to, because I'm only young and have no issues.

I bet I'll be back working in the pub, mixing up close (try handing someone a plate of dinner while social distancing) with literally hundreds of totally different people from all over the place , who may or may not have been vaccinated, 12 hours a day, five days a week before I'm jabbed up.

I've already had people suggesting we meet because they've been vaccinated. Well I haven't, so back off and don't expose me to it. Just because you're jabbed up doesn't mean you can't pass it on to those of us that haven't been vaccinated it.

I cannot wait to have mine done. I'll feel a lot safer about going back to work. And I think they should look at making some centers 24 hours, where possible. I'd go any time, day or night, for mine.

“Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you.”

Exactly. They can trace you by where you use your bank card or by your mobile phone. And Big Brother (CCTV) is always watching. A little plastic card is nothing to worry about IMO.

Yes.

Within a few months I think you will find most countries will block entry to anyone without a 'proof of jab' certificate.

This is not a new idea, ships have for centuries needed to fly yellow quarantine flags.
And up until 20 years ago you needed the yellow book to enter many countries, including commonwealth ones.

Some have been 24 hours..BUSBY,,

Who remembers the ID card debate, it's a slippery slope and one I will not support. Think carefully about mandatory actions required by any state.
What's the difference to ID card and a Passport? Nothing to hide nothing to fear😀 If you have a mobile phone you are Tracked if they want to..BUSBY.

Have they? That's good. :giggle::giggle::giggle: Perhaps they should push for more 24 hours ones if they want to keep progressing with more people and keep up with giving everyone who has already had their first jab their second dose. That's assuming they can staff them and get enough vaccines.
