Today I bought a camping rotary clothes dryer from Aldi, bargain £18, the wife can't wait to use it:Rofl1:

You should be able to reject it as not fit for purpose under the Sales of Goods Act and get your money back from whoever you bought it from shouldn't you?

First they have to inspect and test it to acertain whether it is faulty. I think I have demonstrated that it quite clearly registers the wrong voltage and goes into alarm as a result.
When I fit this replacement I will be in a position to send it to them. Really none of this should have been necessary so I'm not happy

If it is less than 6 months old the law assumes it was faulty at the time of purchase unless they can show otherwise. You do not need to prove it is faulty. Clearly it is not fit for purpose if a load they say it can take causes what you say it causes. You can reject and request full refund.

I have just in the past ten minutes photographed the battery voltage at the inverter terminals as 13.42 so float charge from Solars .
I then turned it on and got the wife to switch on the 1350 watt kettle and the voltage gradually came down and settled at 11.91
The voltage on the inverter display was showing 10.1 at this time and immediately sounds the under voltage alarm. This is a 1.8volt difference which is at least 10% in error
Will at sterling admitted the meter is not accurate but it's not good enough if it causes all this noise because it is so far out .
I'll add pictures to the inverter thread when I have better connection

Friday night it seems is a very good night to bid.
I just bought this pure sine 2000watt inverter and charger for about £212 delivered. This will replace the sterling pure sine that I wasted £322 on

I saved £136 on the buy it now :thumb:

I've bell'd out the Sterling inverter remote and the black and white cores are the on/off switch. If Sterling don't sort my purchase of their unit to my satisfaction I'll use their remote to fire this new inverter charger which according to the spec is a real bargain!

I just bought this

My 7 " screen is wasted as widescreen image is unrealistic so I have it set to 4:3 anyway.
Look out for my 7" monitor in "quick sale shots"

I love the trike I've been looking to replace my Piaggio MP3 with a trike for the last year but cant find one that will fit on my Large bike trailer. recently saw a Virago that suited me but rear wheels slightly too wide and have not got time to alter the trailer before going away for 3 months.
Be safe

A popular thread on other forums so if no one minds I'll kick it off here unless anyone has a problem with it?OR does such exist already
This week after endless buying extras over the last 20 months I have bought what I expect to be the last bullet in the clip before trading up when we can afford it
Air suspension! and after much deliberation I concluded that Dunlop sold by Marcle is best bang for buck and wifey picked it up from the post office yesterday for me.
I arrived home from my out of town job this evening like a child at Christmas and had it unwrapped in no time.
I'm immediately impressed with just how substantial the brackets are and the bellows are very big in diameter to increase stability.
Cant wait for a good weather day off work to fit! Instructions are child's play and I will park the back on the quatro's for a bit of crawling space :thumb:

a dash cam, so did lots of other people, but I also bought 3 32gm cards for it for £13.47inc pp

I also bought a puncture repair for my new tyre because I ran over something on the A1, thyres had only done about 40 miles:(

The trike is a A & B Rothmund, 1600 VW air cooled engine, made in Germany. First registered in 1995 then in this country 2007. The insurance companies have never heard of it but got insured by Carole Nash any how

My iPhone 4s is still serving me well after 33 months but I need to charge it in the day as well as at night. I don't want another contract so best option was to buy the hardware
I just bought a new 5s 32gb on amazon for £490.99 that is a very big saving on Apple store £629
Plus a Father's Day gift voucher took another £30 off :)

Mine was about the same age and needed charging again to get to lunchtime.
I bought a new battery, £6. Charge lasts nearly two days now
New 5s would be nice but can't justify / afford one yet

I am happy to be corrected if wrong, but I thought that all SD cards for dash cam use, had to have a rating of 6 or above, to be compatible for filming?
I can't see a rating in the item description, unless I've missed it.

Cheers,

Jock.
