THIS week I bought

They're sealed units and in the garage. No I'm not running out I just never realised four would fit until I tried. More capacity means the inverter won't dent the package much and thus lengthen their lifespan.

What do you use the USB for, Manic? (not very technical, me).

Just to prove I'm not technical, I bought three mini hot water bottles this week.

many items like phone chargers and satnavs have USB 5volt leads for charging so you either need an adaptor or if you know how and want it to be neater, fit a usb socket in the van dashboard.

Hi wellsprungalice, we both have Apple phones and iPads, so thought it would be easier with this double USB socket ( got from eBay for £9.60, from America!)

So, for charging up? Or connecting to stereo/phone system?

We've got an iPhone, a Sony Xperia, a Kindle and an iPad between us, and got separate chargers to go in the 12v socket. Was always a bun-worry, but this week we got given a thingy that works like this one (can't find a pic of the exact one we've been given). Ours hasn't got the usb port, but it was still a cool gift.

I've not seen the Aldi promotion leaflet yet, but from the Mail Online............ "The Aldi supplies, which go into stores on June 12, have been imported from New Zealand."

We were hoping to do the Island Hopper a couple or three years ago, but the weather was horrendous, so it didn't seem like a good idea at the time.
I hope Scotland's finest weather, embraces you both favourably. :thumb:

Have a good one, when it comes round.

Cheers,

Jock.

No and wifey doesn't ever care for the hardrier  but I like to have no limitation on what I might want to do. The batteries can also be diverted to support the two habitation batteries. Even in the darkest winter we manage fine :thumb: Snow is a killer tho

A refurbished ( From Fuji) Fuji X-Pro1.
Cracking bit of kit and my free 55-200 lens arrived today too.

Quite agree, but the sticker is tamper proof (allegedly). At least we can now load up hy van, now, without worrying if we had strayed overweight
