Yep got the through the Alibaba website. All very professional and money held in like an escrow account until they are delivered and inspected. There were delivered to England within 3 days but then UPS took four days to deliver them to me, blaming the weather!

Trying to "downsize" on a few things so received these today. Smaller than our loungers, seem good quality, they recline as well. Really like them.

Windscreen wipers.

The drivers side wiper started making a strange clicking noise on Friday evening on the way to Hayling Island. By the time I had arrived and then focused upon the task of quality assuring the local beer supply, I forgot all about the wiper until it came time to leave home on Sunday lunchtime. I lifted the offside wiperarm, only for the wiper itself to fall off the arm...
A few minutes with a couple of crafty located cable ties provided a workable, but very temporary solution to get home, hence buying new windscreen wipers.

Mr wallet now needs a rest.
Perhaps you could use that lot to charge up the defibrillator and shock that wallet back to life.

Have you an update on this burner ? Looking for something similar.

Yes, it’s working fine. There are two versions out there, one they sell without a flame failure device allegedly for ‘outdoor use’ which costs £39 and another with it that is about £51. I think they are being creative with their terminology but do a search for ‘NJ-100SD single burner’ and it should throw up some results.

Bargains of the day and for once they weren't from the car boot sale! :giggle:

First and and absolutely stonking purchase was a frozen 4.79kg Copas Bronze Free Range Turkey from Heron Foods, should've been around £80 but cost £10! :dance2: Seeing as we were in Spain we never had a traditional Christmas dinner so guess what we're having tomorrow!!!! x:-)

Second, just for balance and to keep the non-meat-munchers happy, we got a load of vegan chicken! 😄 It was also in Heron at 69p a pack or 3 for £1 - they are 300g packs and usually sell for over £3! Hubby got some yesterday so we could try it and fried some up (it's in chunks) it was difficult to tell it from 'real' chicken when done this way, the texture was the same and it looked and smelled like it too, it had a subtle chicken flavour but sufficient so that I'd quite happily eat it as it is - it'll be ideal for curries etc though. We got another 12 packs to go with the 3 we already have! :giggle:

I've always wondered why veggies and vegans like to eat something that tastes and looks like meat?

Me too, but as a meat eater it's very good in comparison to the real thing ... I suppose if someone is used to a meat diet then going straight to veggie/vegan would be even harder without these 'mock meat' options.
