Eh?

Just back from having a tracker, alarm and immobiliser fitted at Vanbitz.

HUD speedometer. My ancient and slightly colour blind eyes are delighted. And it worked straight out of the box. Bliss! (Who designed that Boxer dashboard … !)

Not 100% moho related but it is for its benefit... in order that the EHU on the drive doesn't over charge the batteries I've swapped our electric socket for a BG smart one (we have 2 others in the house for various purposes). Set a schedule so it gets 2 hours 3 times a week.

Lots of lager in the pub @6.10 a pint
Getting stupid money now.
Not a lager drinker myself, unless forced to, ie, Spain and Portugal, so I drink Butcombe Bitter down my local @ £3.20 a pint. Other beers and lagers are priced according to strength, but nothing over £4.80 a pint...........including Guinness. ;)

Cheers

Jock. :)

I live in Cheddar, probably only about ten miles from the Butcombe brewery but I've never seen Butcombe at £3.20 a pint. That's a bargain. Which pub is it please?

I realise now it is probably a Wetherspoons.

Sorry to disappoint, but it's a village local in the PE6 8?? location, eight miles from the nearest Spoons. ;)

BTW, do they still brew Butcombe Gold? Last time I had that was in Bristol years ago. I really did like it. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Yes, they still brew Gold. They've got quite a few different beers these days.

Last week, literally, as I was driving my 2016 Ducato to the garage to get the 58,000km service and an MOT (we call them WOFs) an alarm went off and the display on the dash said something like, "Airbag fault. Read manual" and the red air bag light stayed lit.
The garage I use admitted they couldn't do work on airbags and that, of course, they would have to fail the MOT.
Today I took the van to my local Fiat dealer and they have just informed me that the airbag mechanism needs replacing and this will cost me approx. £550.
What with the service costing approx. £320 and this replacement airbag mechanism, it has been an expensive week.
I am also considering having the van professionally valet cleaned and replacement decals put on because the vinyl has perished very badly in the harsh UV we have in New Zealand. Yet more expense before we put the van to bed for winter.

We bought a Plus Beaux Villages de France Michelin map. Latest edition March 2023. Apparently has thirteen new villages on it.

We've bought on of the most popular of motorhome accessories.IMG-20230528-WA0002.jpg
He's a cockapoo named Sonny (after Heung min Son of course). Picking him up this afternoon. Quite excited😍

So how did the collection go? He looks very much like ours but 2 years between them :)
It went very well. No car sickness or crying. He was already used to the car as he'd been on the school run a few times. We only live about 10 miles away though.

Reminds me of the day we picked our 'poo' up .....only we travelled to the end of wales ans made a weekend of it .
Hope youve got your sleep hours in ready .
