THIS week I bought

Which one

Can I ask where from - did you get a good deal?

I'd be surprised if they hadn't been backed up somewhere - fingers crossed.

I've just bought a set of chocks, quite small but substantial being metal - so won't defy gravity but will do the job.
It’s a Wimius H8. Looks a solid piece of kit except the instruction have been translated very poorly into English so am struggling a bit!

Did she not have it linked to her PC or tablet?
This my wife your talking about, no PC or tablet only a kindle for reading books which she won’t even use to search internet 😈 It’s a bit odd that half her contacts were lost too. The other half must have been stored on the SIM card. Neither Dee or I would have messed about with the set up at any time so not sure what’s happened.
I have told her the data has gone due to a big fire in Strasbourg, her response was ‘bloody french’ 😱 geography not her strong point 😜

Bought an Apeman C370 dashcam, the most basic they do but it does what it says on the tin which is all I’m after.
We bought a dashcam some months ago. I believe it would work really good if the correct buttons were pressed in the correct order. Problem is we cannot workout which order so the new cam is in the useless bin. Another waste of money on tech for us.
Enjoy it they can be very helpful i have read and told.

Got a DeLonghi 500w electric oil filled radiator £25. new, was returned to seller as the box was damaged, they sell for about £60/£70!
It will help with warmth from the bigger one we have in the van when weather is really cold!

The apeman is just plug in to cigarette lighter and it turns on/off with ignition. Manuel is rubbish but online one is fairly good, took 5 minutes to set up and that’s it.

They are handy, used mine in defence when we clipped wing mirrors with a works van to prove it wasn’t my fault. Didn’t help his defence when he said this was the third time it’d happened to him

Agree, easy when you know how. Ours was supposed to switch itself on, and it did. Then i pressed a button, that was it. As stated now in the useless bin until someone can sort it.
Can't remember the make. Was £130 is all i can remember.

Bought this and some spare sandpaper sheets don’t know what else to call them. Great bit of kit.

This week I would have bought a nice little toad. IF the guy selling it hadn't chosen to ignore my emails offering to pay for it sight un seen. Before anyone else showed any interest.
He'd rather sell it to someone that was willing to travel during lock down restrictions. Nor did he have the curtesy to explain to me why when I asked.
Go figure.

Don't think you need another device. As long as you are automatically backing up to a Google account or similar you just restore all your pix and contacts after getting your new phone.

What's Manuel done to you? He's probably a very nice bloke.

Well I got something this week but didn't have to buy it ... a Drayton LP722 central heating & hot water controller, 3 years old ... I found it on Gumtree being given away by someone in London so I asked if they'd post it which he agreed to and didn't even charge me even though I offered postage plus a bit more too!

It’s a bit odd
I had to renew all sim cards for our phones recently . When I did mine & went to make a call, half the numbers were missing. Must have been on the card?
When I add a contact it offers me 5 choices
gus-lopez
sim card
phone
google
something else I can't remember?

i've never known where to put them ? I usually alternate between sim & phone but have used gus & google for stuff I'd rarely use.
but I have no idea where they go or how to access them?
