THIS week I bought

Whilst in Lidl getting milk that management forgot yesterday. I had a look at the set of mole grips, some one mentioned them. There was also a magnetic tool rail so I bought them both.
I have lots of mole grips but my long pointed ones were lethal. The handles were finger trappers so it gave me chance to bin them. The magnetic rail is quite good and gives me some were to put most of my mole grips were I can see them rather than hidden in a drawer.
Likewise, I bought a set of those mole grips on Monday. Only a fiver, what incredible value.

its probably outlived some of its riders
More than likely :)
This morning I chucked the lump at the frame ( only held in with one bolt and the rear shock ) and started it up.......... 3rd kick
Couple of wee issues to sort out as in the zorst had not seated properly and I noticed the ferrel on the end of the rear brake cable was not on correctly, then it can go back in the pile and the next one started on !

On my way back home from having my feet sorted I called in Lidl and got another tool rail. I wasn’t sure how good they were but the first one seemed quite good holding all my mole grips. I have put a selection of my spanner’s I use most on the second one instead of having to dig through the drawers on my tool box.

Nearly forgot I bought a new battery for managements Polo yesterday. Four year guarantee and delivered in 24 hrs for £50 from Advance Batteries.

Just bought a new radio unit - its got Apple CarPlay which I use in my car for navigation as well, TPMS system and DAB radio. Just got to get it fitted now - hopefully it won't be too much of a job as it is supposed to come with everything I need for a Peugeot Boxer!

Out of interest, what did you buy and how much was it? Our radio is driving us nuts and needs replacing.

Linky, please!

Along with the add on for Tyre Pressures, DAB+ box/aerial and a plug to monitor van engine... Its from Audio Tech Direct - I used their website https://audiotechdirect.com/ but they also sell on Ebay.

A treat we don't have very often - we did something healthy the followed it by something totally unhealthy, but I don't care! :giggle:

The healthy bit: we went for a walk round the park with my Mum today as she's been nagging since last year, the dogs enjoyed the change of scene and it was a lovely sunny and fairly warm day with very little wind so quite pleasant.

The unhealthy bit: After the walk me and Mum sorted out the trays, cutlery etc whilst hubby went to the chippy ... three lots of fish specials with oodles of scraps ... usually we don't eat it all as there's too much but today we pigged out and ate the lot, even my Mum managed to stuff herself with most of it! Totally yummy!!!! 😄

Sounds like you have gone back to the 60's don't get those in our posh chip shops down here.
You can keep your posh chip shops ... especially if its the type where you get 'Jenga' type stacks of thick chips! 😄

You can't beat good old fashioned fish, chips and scraps with lashings of salt and vinegar and a hot mug of tea ... and if you're feeling really greedy a slice of bread with lashings of butter! I'm getting hungry!! :giggle:

Today I bought.... :)

So tomorrow I may be able to clean the green gunge off the front windscreen, which I can't reach: not allowed to clean van at storage.

Yeah. :)

I thought for a minute you had got a new broomstick there Joy ... so that when you slide off it backwards due to having too much to drink it wouldn't scratch your bum! 😄

Can you teach me how to do that? The bit where you throw the old ones away instead of putting them in the use in dire need box at the back of the shelf

A new battery for Mrs SI’s car. Old one was completely dead after she hadn’t used it for a long time and even the charger said Not a Chance! Got the new one from Halfords so will have to fit it today or tomorrow.

You just have to grit your teeth and do it ... I had a load of jam jars that I'd got from my Mum to pass on to my step-MIL but they'd been sitting around for ages, she dropped a birthday card off for my hubby the other day and she said that she didn't need them at the moment so I put them all in the recycling bin ... it goes against the grain to throw them but we can't hang on to everything and by the time step-MIL wants any we'll have a load more.

Well after a number of funsters said they were going to buy garden furniture I thought I better get moving as there might be none left. Went to garden centre for some compost and left with a rattan garden table and chair set, last one in store. Supplies are short from what we gather.

Prior to which we also bought a new Freezer.

Think I need to sit down, feeling a bit light headed from all the spending, add to which we said we wouldn't drink tonight. Ahhhhhhhh!!!!

This week I bought a nice bottle of rum to celebrate the end of home schooling, I love my kids dearly but this past couple of months has nearly broke us 🤯
For us this is the start of getting back to normal, I know it's still a long way off but we can now hopefully see some light at the end of the tunnel!
Bottoms up everyone 🥃

Couple of MHome related items
Sunday £60 quits worth of diesel to fill to top ready and also to cut down on condensation in the tank.
Also an adapter for the grey waste as will be on a couple of serviced pitches over the summer.
Set of wheel covers as the brakes looked crappie last weekend.

Yes it was an on the spot decision, we needed a set for our patio, for which yesterday some long awaited paving slabs arrived, having ordered them last August, delayed due to Covid, so I can now finish the patio. As I said I think supplies may be short for some time. Good luck.
