One of our electric lazy boy armchairs decided to chuck a wobbly and let all the smoke out of the control box .. Replacement is £120 + delivery.. So I am building a replacement my self ...
Got all the clever stuff laying around and already drawn up a circuit, so just waiting for the final bits to arrive before I build the interface

Seems a lot for smoke. I've still got some I bought for my Matchless in 1954 for 1/9d. and have never used it.

Trouble is, the buggers used a prom and there is NO chance of getting the info it was programmed with.. and of course that was one of the things the smoke seal went on !

A Sterling Power 1 ring induction hob, it should have more control than the electric hot plate which is Oh so slow to heat up and control. . .
 
Two 2-ton scissor jacks and a wall mounted soap dispenser from Ebay.
 
A couple of extendable poles to make hanging rails in the washroom.

A jigsaw puzzle from the local car boot sale, first 'new to me' one I've bought in months so I've been having to do my others time and time again ... will be giving it a go later on! :LOL:

We had the same problem and it was caused by the thermister (not therostat)
We bought from Currys a mini freezer, compressor type, mains electric, £69.99, 33litre capacity, to fit in our garage at the back of the motorhome so that we can carry the frozen meat for our dog while on our travels.

Like the sound of that for Kerry but I only have 2x 100ah batteries & 120w solar panel
