THIS week I bought

25l of non acidic foaming wheel cleaner and a 15" digital foto frame

Neither of them actually for me though !

A new motorhome :sneaky: our 3rd van and it’s interesting as I once read that it’s usually the 3rd van that’s the one that ticks all the boxes. Started vw cali, then fiat Adria twin and we’ve ordered a Bürstner today for our growing family

thinking positive about a year of adventures ahead

Yes they're legal - All weather tyres with a 3-peak mountain with a snowflake in the centre.
Serious question, are those legal in Germany in winter even though they are all terrain and not winter tyres? I ask because I am going to be fitting Cooper ST MAXX AT tyres and would be good to know without researching, thank you in advance for your anticipated reply

A volet for the front screen to reduce the condensation inside, Having been out on New Year’s Day with the front screen looking like a swimming pool we looked at the problem and invested in an insulated cover....works a treat 👍😁

I have bought a new CBE fused switch for the heater in our Rienza. I fitted a new switch when we bought it five years ago because the fuse holder had melted. It is starting to look like the fuse holder is starting to distort again.
I dont think the switches are up to being left on for long periods. At £8 they can’t be very well made to start with.
I have been thinking about fitting a USB socket next to the heater switches. I can get a three gang fitting to replace the two gang. It will match the other switches having the same colour surround. A job for lock down maybe.

Windows 10, 8Gb Ram & a 1Tb SSD, turned my Macbook Pro into a windows machine. 6 years old and Apple have stopped supporting it so no more Mac OS upgrades.

I just got a new water filter for the moterhome 😂

I suspect there's another load of 'junk' being transformed into something useful! :p
It involves a 100 year old 7" gauge from a dam that was used ro check the height of the water, a few feet of copper pipe, the above fittings and one other critical item :-)

Are you gonna tell us what it's gonna be then? :giggle:

My first bike was a Triumph Speed Twin (app '48 vintage) .. I bought it as a complete basket case for £4, but the tank was away being painted.
Anyway, I got it all back together before the tank came back and being eager to have a go I pushed a funnel through the lugs on the frame with a rubber tube to the carb.
It worked just fine, riding it around the Kentish lanes with a mate on the back carrying a 1 gallon petrol can. On my command he would lean round me and pour more fuel into the funnel. ... great days.👍

Two Aviro face-masks, one for each of us. Anti-viral material, washable, look a good fit. Figure it best to have a mask that does the business, ordinary cloth ones offer only limited protection from the wearer to others, but I want to protect us from bugs spread by others.
