THIS week I bought

Tyres are dated but they do start to crack and perish - funny though it is usually on the inner side They will be changed this year before that happens
Yeah changed my rears looked ok from the outside but looking between the treads you could see cracks. Loads of tread left but not worth the risk..

Over the last couple of weeks I have purchased:
  • Replacement Britax rear light clusters
  • Front fog lights (previous ones appeared to suffer common problem of them melting and the bulb holder end dropping off - my old ones were held in with 'special' brackets)
  • A bundle of 12v electrical gubbins to relay the power / switched feed to the USB-C charger and stereo
  • A bundle of spare fuses
  • 300w PSW Inverter to run via the EBL
  • 5G Flex MotorhomeWiFi kit

The cab seats in our present MH are no where near as comfortable as the seats in the Ducato X244 PVC we had previously and having followed the "Ducato sheepskins for seat covers?" thread,
I ordered these Wolf tip Mouflon sheepskins which arrived today.
As well as being lovely and soft to the touch, they smell gorgeous.

Today hubby went to Lidl for some shopping and they had some bark mulch for sale, 40 litres for £1.99 which is a very good price, so he got 10 of them ... guess who's the mug is that's gonna be the one to do the weeding and mulching!

It amazes me how sheep are bred to be the right size for motorhome seats.

Suckers! Yup a load of suckers ... 16 to be precise as it's a pack of Milenco ones, £9 delivered off Ebay. They're for the internal screens I'm gonna adapt so that we can use them inside the MH when it's hot or when we don't want to put external ones on and also for roof vent pads too.

We bought similar, (but without the on/off button), to replace the smaller one in the MH which was cracked. We were so impressed with it, that we bought another for the home power shower. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)
We did exactly the same thing one for the van initially then another for home, have now bought another one with the on/off button for the van not tried in anger yet (next week👍).

We have one shower that runs with a powerful pump and this did not like these heads as not enough flow, so we have a spare 🙂

We’ve had one at home for months. Very impressed. Where do you get replacement beads ?

A Kartt ribbed jockey wheel and cast clamp for my trailer.
It weighs nearly as much as the trailer!

Bought, binned, for me. Was useless and also weighed a tonne, so had to remove from raiser rail every time we drove. Now have an orbital one.
Same here, brought 2 at Norfolk Show a couple of years back, both leaked all over the place.
Show supply must have had a very powerful pump

iPad holder that firs in the cup holder. Very pleased with it. Really tight fit in the holder - twist and it expands.

Waiting for my mozzy net for left hand side door of my 2008 Adria Twin then looking for somewhere in Peak District for last week of July. Usually in Spain for much of time to now but at least this year we have had a great time looking at flowers in garden we never knew we had (yes we knew we had a garden just not the flowers)

Neil, the pump in our MH is a Shurflo Trail King rated @ 20psi. The shower head works fine with that.

The house shower is a Mira Event power shower (output pressure unknown, but less than the Shurflo pump), which was okay with previous shower heads, however, a good few months ago, I replaced the hose for one with a larger internal diameter, and now the flow is so much better, and the new shower head with the beads works brilliantly with it, possibly being the best shower head we have ever had, flow wise. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Corner steady foot pads.
I lost one of these last year coming off the ferry.
The corner steadies are the first thing to scrape if I was going to bottom the motorhome.
The foot pads are sacrificial.
Did think about removing the steadies but would sooner loose one of them than the rear bodywork 😱

Strange, on the box it states it is a set of four, and yet you only posted photos of two of them... :giggle:

... a circular sink cover made to measure, ordered from a glass comany in toughened glass as the plastic one broke in half. New one was ridiculously expensi ve but the toughened glass one was £13..

Don't know if it will be satisfactory but worth trying.
