THIS week I bought

A totaly mint, boxed with all original paperwork, manuals and bits, Canon 5D classic, wife went mad
if she went made about the camera when are you going to tell her about the screen ...…………….oops just did 🙊

A new SOG carbon filter...... outrageous price of £17 for a bit of activated carbon. Looking into ways of making my own

Gave the van a bit of a birthday today with a new Omnistore. Phenomenally expensive but a lot less weight than the old one and it was a 5 minute changeover because the brackets etc were exactly the same. Now her indoors can roll out the awning without embarrassment (the old one was minging).

I think Lenny HB may have made his own.
I was refilling the SOG filter cost about £3-£4 compared to a new filter at £25. I have just converted mine to a roof vent.

Here is the roof vent conversion.

I found a cheap way with carbon foam but will have to wait and see when it is delivered
I bet you have to be careful where you squirt that! :giggle:

Autoglym motorhome & caravan cleaner as well as their fast glass cleaner. Bosch Fontus battery powered power washer arrived earlier in the week. Now just waiting for extending ladder to arrive so I can get up to the roof. By the time the full service and MOT is done in mid-July our MH should be gleaming.

Quoting an 8 yr old post
Where did the time go

anyway I’m taking advantage of every Amazon whisky deal of the day:p

full service for Van nothing horrible surprises told ball joints would need to changed for the MOT which was due this week so they are getting done (I expected that) and tyres are approaching end of life not due to thread but date so will be costing those up shortly (that was not surprise either) so far the bill is under what I had estimated so all is good
How old do you consider to be end of life for your tyres?

Tyres are dated but they do start to crack and perish - funny though it is usually on the inner side They will be changed this year before that happens

A tall folding stool, can't rech the top cupboards in the van on my little one, and the one i usually carry is too wide for where I need to use it.

Paul, get yourself a set of Fugi sticks, soapy water and paper kitchen towel.

Got a set of those and set of Yato which I find a little more supple, but I'm a sucker for a gadget and can't resist. :giggle:

By the way, shaggy sheepskins arriving tomorrow, ..................... see I told you I get suckered in. (y)
