THIS week I bought

Bought a wreck of a Honda race bike & spent 6 months getting in ready to take to the Isle of man Classic TT - non TT pic is Crystal Palace

Last 2 pics are of a Yamaha I'm restoring (one of which I posted yesterday) & I'm hoping to take it to classic TT this year (if it goes ahead)View attachment 372067View attachment 372068View attachment 372069View attachment 372070View attachment 372071

Both bikes are bump start only, so the roller starters will save me pushing up a hill, jumping on & bump starting

v nice indeed! Thanks for sharing. Nice man cave to keep you busy over the coming weeks! ?

A new relay for the cooling fans on the rad of the van
Fans work fine but for some reason the relay is telling the ECU there is a fault.
Thought it was a sensor to start with but nope, it was the bloody relay chucking up an engine light error

After reading Charlie's blogs on washing and waxing

Snow foam Lance
Superfoam
Drying cloths
Top gloss

Let the battles commence - when they arrive!

Something I hope never to use

Excellent (y) ... Now make a reminder sign to keep with it which you hang on your steering wheel so you don't drive off and leave it behind.

Get 3 more loaves and then you’re covered ?
Ahh I thought I got it wrong, Bob Geldof is very canny isn't he ? ??

Considering the Rienza is stuck on the drive as are others I made a move towards having WIFI when we are eventually let out.
Managements kindle is knackered so as a short cut to birthday presents I agreed to buy her a new one. I had an Amazon Gift Voucher that needed spending so I used the change to buy a Hauwie MIFI thing and SIM card.
I have struggled getting WIFI with an EE plug in thing that only worked occasionally here and not abroad. We managed with site WIFI between off grid stops.
We are not very up to date with tech things but we have found more reasons to need WIFI for searching for places to stay and keeping in touch.
I know this clamp down may be a long haul but I can only look forward to better things.

Gro-bags, tomato and strawberry plants, all by mail order.

We are normally at our place in France during the summer so this is our first summer in the UK for 14 years. Determined to make the best of it.

I have built raised beds for them using surplus roof beams from our house renovations.

(No panic buying necessary now. Just need to wait three months for supplies)!

An aldi 21.5" 12v caravan TV, that's just arrived

And just as quickly, it's going back

The mount on the back is 200mm x 100mm

Not the 100mm x 100mm most other tv's, and my mount is!

Guess I'd better start saving for the new Avtex I really wanted

I did look at them and thought the mount looked odd, also looked like it would make the tv stand out more.
Another on I was looked at was the Sniper 22”.

Smarty unlimited sim, £20 a month with no contract.
Getting about 5mb download speed so as good as our landline.
Hoping for more speed when dedicated router arrives, currently using an old phone.
Appreciate when,if, we use it abroad will have the 19gb data limit.

Intention is to ditch landline if new router improves on that download speed.
Three are now doing a sim with unlimited data , minutes and texts @£16 per month. Not sure if it will work in a mifi device like Huawei

A new Thetford toilet cassette as a back up in case we can't find an emptying point when the in use one is full, and a Thetford Automatic ventilator kit for the MH toilet. The Boss is forever complaining of onboard smells.
Before anyone says anything, I do shower daily.

Lidl Malted Wheats as no real Shreddies available.
They taste 'orrible, like cardboard, and destined for the bird table.
And I bet the birds leave them too ?
