THIS week I bought

A double, waterproof outside socket and conduit so I can make a more permanent connection to plug Moho into the mains . For battery charge purposes mainly
Which one did you buy and are you going to use household 2.5 mm in a cover?

I think it’s called BandG , from Toolstation , double socket with RCD built in , test and re-set buttons and a big folding cover with rubber seal. IP 66 certified. Yes we’ve used 2.5 mm2 ring mains cable , taken a spur from an existing inside socket and no exposed wiring at all .

They have just closed down ☹ it would have given me another job to add to the ever growing list?

I did the same but the half Scot in me appeared so I also fitted a switched fused spur inside so that I can isolate the socket when away from home. Was it for safety or to stop someone thieving my electric ?, although I think I'm correct in that if you spur off a ring main it should be via a fused spur?

I just bought another dolce gusto machine
Old one still functions but it’s tired and ready light no longer works so could be an omen
Bought a slightly different design but same auto spec
Curry’s on eBay damaged box clearance price

Screwfix is opening as an essential shop, you can maybe get your bits there.

Hosepipe adapter that fits in place of the cap for filling tank, brilliant, can't believe I haven't had one before! (y) Shame we can't go anywhere to use the water

Smarty unlimited sim, £20 a month with no contract.
Getting about 5mb download speed so as good as our landline.
Hoping for more speed when dedicated router arrives, currently using an old phone.
Appreciate when,if, we use it abroad will have the 19gb data limit.

Intention is to ditch landline if new router improves on that download speed.

A new garden hose and fittings.

Onions, cauliflower, milk, apples, tomatoes, mushrooms.

Viper
Where did you get the hose from?
Broke mine when nearly fell off ladder when washing van ?

Got any pics and / or stories of the bikes?

Bought a wreck of a Honda race bike & spent 6 months getting in ready to take to the Isle of man Classic TT - non TT pic is Crystal Palace

Last 2 pics are of a Yamaha I'm restoring (one of which I posted yesterday) & I'm hoping to take it to classic TT this year (if it goes ahead)

Both bikes are bump start only, so the roller starters will save me pushing up a hill, jumping on & bump starting

I have the standard water cap with key - Picture 1.
If I buy the ported version as in Picture 2
- do you have to switch them over when you fill or is there a locking version of the hosepipe ported one? Does that make sense?

I have the picture below on the wall in my dining room that I used for inspiration when things went bad during the restore - it's my hero Mike Hailwood at the same bend - the Gooseneck - in 1967

You switch them over when filling. There is no way you can lock the filler version because there is a big hole in the middle (to let the water in) where the lock barrel should be.

Yes it makes sense and no you have to swap to the blue one when you want to fill and then put the white back on when you've finished.

Ha peterc10 ... you're the 'filling in the sandwich' as I was typing at the same time as you and you just got in before me! :giggle:

Exactly what I do. I have a short length of hose attached to it with adaptor so that I can either use the tap and blue filling hose, or the submerged pump if filling from a water hog

Vango galli Compact RSV awning. Might put it up on Sunday at FILs. He can look from his window, he is 92, one leg in wheelchair. Might cheer him up as Jan and I do divorce in a bag.
