THIS week I bought

Hi John,

At £100 it seems a lot of money for not a lot but I had a good scout around for what was available and decided on this.
You can not get to grip the heads of the screw as they are recessed in and flush on front of the cap and no gap around the head to speak of. I would think it would be possible to drill the heads off, but thieves would have to be pretty desperate in wanting you van if they were going to go though that process.

Out of the handful of people selling this, this guy was the cheapest.

I'm sorry that your computer hasn't shown my purchases. I'll do them again. Their significance may become apparent in the next ten days (I hope)

You've found an old pirates treasure map but the place marked with an "X" you located with the aid of the compass is in the polar bear enclosure at Belle Vue Zoo so the whistle is to summon help after the inquisitive polar bears have chewed off your shovelling arm and the first aid kit is to keep you alive until the paramedics locate Bear Grylls to save you......simple deduction really. Where can I collect my prize?

You're searching for the answer to the great mystery of the Bre#it quandry. It's somewhere up Corbyns ar*ehole and when you find it you will blow the whistle and then use the needle and thread to stitch up the hole?
The needles are too sharp and the thread is too thin for that purpose.
If it were necessary I'd use a poker and

I've buried it in the Gorilla enclosure at London Zoo(y)

Somewhat. Helper option..
Scrap yard visited OBD socket GIVEN ( as the bloke said, no other bugger wants one).
Moved real socket out the way..
Anyone trying to use the new ne is gonna get a nasty shock .. alternative plans wired positive and negative to make their widget go ‘pooof’ and let all it’s smoke out :-)

Today postie brought my 'Le Four palestinien oven' (French version of the Omnia oven) that I bought from @Minxy Girl

https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/omnia-style-hob-top-ovens-new.190381/

had brilliant roast potatoes cooked in it tonight on the top of my gas cooker:D

Will put a pic of them here in a bit:

Also my new, 2nd hand, first ever, Iphone arrived. Previous phone was a Blackberry that I never went online with, so no apps on it, few available. Not willing to sideload banking apps. Needed a phone I could use as a satnag, get currency on and camper apps etc and don't do android.

:(:(:( I have a headache :(:(:(

but I am getting there:)

Though I don't like itunes it is a right PITA:rolleyes:

You've gotta show us your roast spuds ... my mouth is watering just thinking about them! :p

Edit: Just had a shuftie at them on the other thread .... mmmmmmmmm .... I'm gonna show it to hubby ... :D

This week after visiting Motorhome show at Event City where we made an appointment with Regal upholstery near Derby, we had all new foam and leather upholstery for our Dethleffs, only 15 months old but flat, boring and uncomfortable, wow what a great job they did, fantastic team worked on it and finished it the same day. Totally redesigned the seating, even made curtains and cushions to match.

I looked at doing something along those but the cable between the OBD port and the loom is only a few inches so not much scope for hidding the port away with out splicing in a longer lead plus it would really piss the AA breakdown man off if he needs to read off any fault codes. ;)

4 packets of Aldi Red Thai Curry. We've love currys of all sorts and last year ran out of spices, curry powder etc while on our extended travels. Very difficult to get in Euroland so we're going better prepared this year.

Well, as long as I own the van I would hope to be with it if it broke down, so I could tell the person about to plug in where the real socket is :-)
But I have my own reader anyway so I can tell em what has gone phut! LOL !

A 60 led 12v lead light. 10€ (y)Only bought it as it had what I thought was a 240v/12v charging adapter( as well as a stright 12v cig socket plug).Which it was . but what I didn't realise ,due to everything being only in German, was that it is cordless. After a few hours charging & light goes from red to green you have a 5-7 hour work light.(y)Off to get another to keep in the house.

Sounds like the ones that I purchased in ClasOlson had them for a couple of years and they are brilliant..

Some remote battery operated candles. Apparently they add ambience. I had no say in the matter...eugh!

As an ex loss adjuster I wouldn't have a real candle (lit!) in the house if you paid me. Come to think of it I don't much like the smell of them unlit.......

A generator ...

A Briggs & Stratton P2200 generator ... got a great Amazon warehouse deal on it - said it was 'used' with a damaged box so we decided to take a chance on it as Amazon stuff can be returned if needs be without hassle.

When it arrived it hadn't even been opened and still had the plastic' bands' round it, so was brand spanking new, just the box was a bit chewed up.

We've looked at loads and checked out lots of reviews for various makes/types and this seems to have a good reputation, mainly sold in America but fully supported in the UK.

Well pleased!

Also got a wheeled crate from the car boot sale a week ago which it fits in perfectly so even more pleased!

There's an Amazon link below the picture but if you're got your ad-blocker on you won't be able to see it.
