THIS week I bought

Totally unconnected with my recent purchases. ie whistle, rubber furrule, compass etc.
I give you a pack of seven metal 'zip ties'. There are no serrations on the metal strip but once the male bit goes into the female end there's not a hope in anything separating the two apart. Needs a pair of tin snips to do the business.

But great at 14p each (or less) for making your bikes that bit harder to take off the bike rack.

Chinese up the road sells them in varying width & lengths. I use them when replacing cv rubber boot clips & they also have a use for holding up the bottom part of the rear ladder in the up position.

All will be clear before the end of the month. Currently doing warm weather training in Spain but you are warned.I will be asking you to unlock your wallets, safes, and purses.(all in a very good cause).

We have those they are so safe in the MH!

(Got to say Hubbie not to bothered either!!)
Never thought of taking some to the motorhome, said i liked them one year and got 3 sets at christmas, one now defunct, they tend to come aprt when dropped from a height. shall sneek them into the bottom of the bedding bag :D2

When we bought our Frankia i740 Plus we didn't have the huge table installed and instead we have been using a small foldup table for the last 18 months. Since getting the van we have adopted a dog and now plan on getting another so we need all the floor space we can get and have decided on this solution. It looks a very sturdy bit of kit so hope it's a good decision.

In all seriousness be careful, the manufacturers don't warn you what might be causing the dryness in the first place.

i was fibbing, but due to me being accused of being a dry........................well you get it,,,,,,,,,

That's good then, but we went through a horrific few months a couple of years ago because of a lack of information from the manufacturers of the damn stuff that could have made all the difference. Sell your product yes but don't hide important stuff from the customer. I take whatever chances I get (not that many for a bloke!) to stress how important it is to deal with root causes not just symptoms.

i feel suitably small now, so sorry!

and yes, manufacturers should be more open about their products, sadly its all 'this will do, or cure...' etc
only when you buy the product do you learn..................

I bought shampoo for greasy hair but returned it to the store, because I realised I did not want greasy hair:)

Or as the late, great Kenny Everitt once said:

"Are you tired of using the same old shampoo?"

"Then why not use a real poo!!"

If I see that flaming advert again I'm gonna take a contract out on Jenny Eclair!

It annoys me that it appears during the daytime when kids are watching ... show me an advert where 'penis' is mentioned*! *(That's rhetorical by the way I do NOT particularly want to see that!)

I bought 2 reusable PINGI car dehumidifier pads. Tesco had them on offer at £5 reduced from £7.50.

The recent snow caused condensation on the inside of the windscreen, which is unusual in my PVC. Normally the cab aircon is on when driving so that takes care of humidity. Just waiting for a warm dry day now to ventilate it properly with all doors and lockers open. Thursday's weather forecast looks promising.

Just to be on the safe side with 'you know what' coming soon I purchased 2x IDP's ready for our upcoming trip.
How daft to need a separate one for France and Spain.
Still, £11 isn't the end of the world if, as I suspect, I will never need to show them to anyone.

Richard.

Ok last weekend but just had our first full weekend at a nice wee site on the outskirts of Heskett Newmarket, getting my head around all the new equipment, unfortunately the fridge ain’t working on electric, error 8 showing and both fuses on the power board are fine so need a new power board I suspect, otherwise loving the extra room and so are the dogs
