THIS week I bought

Picked up an Eberspacher D2 unit pump and controller for £150 see what it's like when it arrives and need to think where I'm going to fit it
Have you got the loom? if not i bought one of these off ebay for the my D2

Cheaper than buying a plug and wire and having the hassle of doing it yourself :)

Been having a couple of problems with my laptop charging lately, the battery was getting past it's best then the power socket on the laptop became very loose and the power lead also became unwell.
It is such a super laptop that I thought I would do something about it.
Took delivery of a new power pack yesterday then ordered a new internal power lead socket a new battery and a miniature tool kit. Have youtubed installation instructions so just waiting for the components to arrive....(y)

Bought a caravan for my daughter. Just spotted it for sale on Smeatons Lakes site at Newark. I have the car & trailer on the back so it's another excuse for a trip to collect it. Once l get home from this one :). Currently at Lincoln Show and we're on Week 6 of the hols.

Well not just this week but recently I've bought:
A set of forged high compression piston s (+1mm dia).
A set of ACL race big end and main bearings.
A full set of head, main and big end bolts from ARP.
An adjustable brake proportioning valve.
A gps hud speedo.
All for the new build race engine.

D.
I have just been pricing up a load of parts, piston and rod , valves and bearings to rebuild an old race bike.. just been offered a complete bike i don't really want , at money i cant afford to turn down, so need to find a window of opportunity to get it and turn it into a box of parts under a bench ASAP.

Got a set of A class silver screens off eBay couple of weeks ago, didn't fit our Pilote very well so have adapted them using these

They stick to the windows really well

This week:

A washing up bowl for the MH. In a proper old-fashioned hardware shop I found a cream one, exactly the right diameter. There was a bespoke washing up bowl in the Westy's sink, so I was a bit surprised that Rapido didn't provide one as standard on a new Van. After all, there is no built-in dishwasher.

One snagette - a small DIY cut-out from the rim is needed, so with the bowl in the sink the tap can fold down and the glass lid can close.

Just bought a year's subscription to the Royal Photographic Society, to go with my upcoming Open University course in digital photography. I got it for the student rate of £55.00, instead of the standard rate of £120

Back to studying again in a month's time. Now, where did I put my academic gown . . . . . ?

Well, I got £230 off my Apple Mac computer and a free pair of Beats wireless headphones (on sale at £250) to go with it! It's only a 10 week course, so I guess I need to get spending now!

Been a good couple of days for the couriers!
First off, two Brompton bikes to keep in the van.
Next ( and we swore we would never get a tv in the ban, so it’s mainly for watching dvd’s and to improve our French) an Avtex L168drs tv and a Snipe 2 sat system
2 new tyres for the van (with snowflakes on them)
New battery for the Dyson cordless vacuum we keep in the van ( cos I washed the vac and buggered up the battery)
New CBE fridge vent fan kit because the second Brunner Vento fan kit is just as noisy as the first one we bought!
Tyrepal set
Black Adder, the complete series
New burner module for the water heater
And I was going to buy the full set of Game of Thrones, till I saw the price
