Ooooh! I like the look of that.
Well I've used it this last weekend to go up to Staithes and it was really helpful - the weight & width markings particularly. Well worth £16.99 on Amazon.

I still ended up going down & 10 mins later back up the hairpin bends on Saltburn seafront though:LOL:

Technically I bought these a few weeks back but just had tyres fited today and fitted , now the wheels look like they fit the van and not look like I have borrowed them off a mini . (y)

The Sunix 4x 4.5W MR11 2835 LED Spotlight Bulb AC DC 12V Replace Halogen Light LD892 arrived this morning so I promptly fitted them. I fitted 5 bulbs so I should make a saving of 27.5 W when running them. Every little helps, especially now the nights are drawing in.

I bought an Ugly Stik in Stranraer :reel:

Ken, Is he still a MOG? Spent a small fortune over the years in his store with rarely a smile. Then again I would always barter down his extortionate prices. ;)

BTW the Ugly Stick is a good rod, I have 3 of them, what poundage did you go for?

Brian, if you're talking about Eric, then yes a bit of a MOG at first, but lightened up a bit when he knew I was buying. He wouldn't shut up in the end and I was only saved by a the shop phone ringing, at which point I escaped.

No complaints though, after he did a bit of discount. Not as cheap as the Internet, but the man has overheads.

I stayed light with it being for the kayak and went for the 7'4" 8-12lb, but it's such a lovely feeling rod, that I'm thinking of complimenting it with a 12-20lb at some point.

I tend to use the 12-20lb as a general rod but prefer the heavier 20-30lb rod for trolling and pulling congers out of their hiding spots. Caught a 60lb Tope using the heavy Ugly Stik with a float and flapper set at 20ft. Abu Garcia multiplier using 30lb braid and a wire trace. Good rods. (y)

Today i bought a trumatic 3002 gas and electric fire with blown air to replace my goosed one ... pick it up tomorrow, hopefully have it fitted before pembrey

same as ours....without the battery:D We bought our in Leicester about an hour away from home mainly because of the service....the local shops were not in the same league as the one in Leicester.

I am about to start the hunt for a couple of folding E bikes and, as we live in Leicestershire, your post is encouraging. Did you use E Bikes on Granby street (in the town centre) or Fosse Bikes on Boston Road (out of town, on an industrial estate come office park)? I have heard good reports about E Bikes but know little about Fosse, although they also seem to get good reviews on the internet.

E-bikes Granby Street, Liam hass to have an operation and is closing down...so you can buy Freego (quite a well known brand) at discounted prices. He is brilliant if you don't know e-bikes....he takes you for a good cycle and teaches you all there is to know about how to ride it. We're taking ours in on Monday for a service before he closes at the end of October. We'll use a local agent once Liam closes down.

Well not just this week but recently I've bought:
A set of forged high compression piston s (+1mm dia).
A set of ACL race big end and main bearings.
A full set of head, main and big end bolts from ARP.
An adjustable brake proportioning valve.
A gps hud speedo.
All for the new build race engine.
