Thetford Bash

Good grief.. that is terrible luck.
Bet you are more than a bit miffed............so sorry to hear it
Waiting for Crouch recovery. ABS sensor failure by the look of it, but in limp mode and won’t change out of 1st. Nearest MB truck place is Wellingborough so might be able to make at least a part of the meet if lucky

All ready for the off tomorrow, hope to be at Thetford around 3pm

“We’re gonna need a bigger van. Towbar just catches the ground and he didn’t want to risk it. Overnighting at the truck repair place and see if they can fix tomorrow. Sorry about the lopsided picture

We’re 9 miles off J9 of A1M with 68 miles to go- not sure it was the right route to take ,.,, but it says we should be there at 4 minutes past 6 - getting hungry now ....

That is really bad luck Dave. Hopefully a sensor change in the morning, with you on the road and on site by late afternoon latest. (y)

Assuming you came from Bristol Geraldine, I would have thought M4/M25/M11/A11/A134.

See you and Cliff tomorrow. (y)

Jock. :)

We’re here Jock! We followed your directions almost to the letter!

I suspect there is one too many bottles of Aldi Glenratspiss on board. Your Voyageur has finally objected to being required to transport cheap stuff and has had a conversation with the breakdown truck that's downed tools in sympathy.
FLT camping at it‘s best...... living the dream  Mercedes truck and van Wellingborough. Seeing them 0700 tomorrow morning to see when they can fit it in

Yes, folk can put out tables to flog stuff if they want to.. but generally for some reason not many people do

But there is no set day for it

Thank you, kind sir. Hope all goes well for everyone and the good weather gods are appeased for you all ..

Due to Postcode covering half the Forest I have taken the GPS coordinates at the entrance. It is almost opposite the power station. Look for the chimney.
Also a dropped pin on Google maps. Choose your own coordinate set.

I can bring you apaxiban , arriving Friday lunchtime but what are the other ones for

Broken down at Cromer. Van started. Went to empty waste. Would not restart. Only ABS and battery lights on dash. They go out when trying to start and clock resets to 0.00.
A bit of clicking from alarm module.
Breakdown called out and waiting.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
2005 Hymer B584 2.8JTD.
Hopefully will get going and turn up soon.

Check the connections on cab battery under floor.
Had an issue once where we had been over some bumpy roads in Morocco. Found that the negative lead was on a spring loaded clip and came loose. Clipped it tight and problem sorted.

Seems like a duff battery. Reading on panel says 14.7v but checked battery as best I could with a meter and says 5v.
Possibly high reading on panel reflects the input from solar and hookup.
Breakdown should not be long hopefully.
