Yeah unfortunately the milk is stored in the door and it's the only thing I'm having trouble with it's just never that cold and i only have milk in cereal nowt else. But its going off way before the date.

If uncle Lenny HB gives me a link to the fan he fitted I'll order one and try that.
Lay your milk bottle on the top shelf :giggle:

Can't you put the bottle higher up in the door?

Buy a bottle that doesn't leak to put the milk in......
We use a couple of 1 litre Soda stream bottles and just decant the 2 litres of milk from the container into them as the 2 litre ones won't fit in our fridge door.

Yeah I expect there will be a few more things crop up with it over the next few months now it's in use. Hopefully nowt to serious. I've still a few inside jobs to sort out on it too that I can do while on the road. I'm annoyed I never thought to change the fluid when we serviced it .

Could have had Just smiffy foot on the pedal 😉
smiffy could have left his foot on the pedal then come out and helped you :giggle:

That's what I would do, and if you don't want to have to buy another quickly buy a few all at once and put the others in your freezer.
id freeze the bottle at least partly then put it in door to become fully liquid again, cools the bottom of fridge too

Told ya you should have put my lovely working fridge in that I have for sale….😝
I didn't want to alter units . It works fine otherwise.

I've just been looking at it actually and I think it's a bit colder in there now ...maybe it didn't like not being level at yours as I hadn't put the van on the ramps the last couple of weeks. Will see how the new bottle I bought yesterday fairs.

Tam the 8000 series was noted fir needing to be vertic for best performance. Id check round the door seals to see if thats letting any warmer air in to the fridge.

I can't see any issues with the seal .. but the fridge door is a bit tight at times

Give longline milk a try, it's not bad if you get the FULL milk, not the semi or skimmed rubbish!

This is a wheeze a lot of catering people use.
No, I didn't believe it either until I was shown it, they were using Tesco's! 🤔

Yeah we use long life milk in the van, I can't tell any difference and you can keep it in normal cupboards till you open it.

That's what I use in Europe. Just got used to buying fresh when in UK.

Semi skimmed though can't take full milk

Decided to put the smoke alarm here.

Hopefully it won't go off when I'm cooking. But if it goes off because there's a fire It'll be activated before I get smoked out in bedroom.
