Rally The Last Peterborough Show April 2023

Hi all, currently at the Peterborough show. Not really enjoying the rain though.
Decided to plan our route to Harwich and on into Holland when we leave Here on Monday.
The Garmin sat nav decided to lose the mapping.
I contacted the Garmin support centre and they instructed to reset to factory settings.

Great!! Now it only shows the main roads. Contacted Garmin again and the only way I can get it back is using a windows computer. Which I don’t have.

Does anyone on site have a lap top who could help with this?
thanks
Trevor

Can anyone at Peterborough post some solar data please . I can’t imagine there is much coming in . Just trying to get an excuse to buy another lithium for the bank 😂. We are not on ehu at all this year so trying to have a good backup plan for overcast days .

Of course you realise that the weather has been organised by the government. They can do a live test of the emergency warning system tomorrow afternoon to warn everyone they need a towing ring and tractor to get off the Peterborough mud flats before the tide comes in. 😲

I would just like to say. We arrived early yesterday. I have seen the Marshalls battle to try and get everyone on. They deserve a medal they really do. Yes it's now very marshy where we are parked but as Jim says its camping. We had to be towed on and off one year when Bob and Jane were marshaling.

My curiosity got the better of me Mark. Don’t worry, I’ve learned my lesson & it won’t happen again.

What’s the actual show like?

Think this was the first show I went to when looking for our first van, probably 4-5 years ago.
Remember it being stacked out with dealers and trades stands, and yes it did rain😁😁not to bad though and was in the car so parked in the car park😁

Not too bad really. Quite a few trade stands selling bits and bobs as usual, lots of vans but prices are well up but a few"sold" stickers dotted around the sales areas .We are a long way off from the show area ,probably the furthest of all the club sites, can't think why that could be.;)

Not too bad really a P max of 476 watts or 91.5% of capacity so a good clear sky when it shines, 930 watt hours so far with a couple of hours to go, oh that's over 70 ah in old money ;)

Laika Kreos new for £150,020 for what looks like a coach built!

I thought it was £50,020 but missed the leading 1 at first glance!

Ow much!!!!
Was in Southdowns a few days back having a look around and some of the prices were a bit steep I thought😳😳
When I started looking about 4-5 years back my budget then of £100k got you a very good top model😁
Probably a basic one now☹️☹️
