Yay!! how big?!
Photos when cooked would be lovely ( no head or eyes please!!)Two fish big enough to share, Pollack I think, but they are a different colour. One is very bronze with colours in its scales. Sad really to kill them but we'll enjoy eating them.

Tonight we've had Martin's cod he caught this morning as a starter
So that was either a MASSIVE starter or a very small Cod!
You need one of these:.We (Martin) thought it was a trout but the local fisherman he showed it to said it was cod.
It was delicious, better than the Pollack.
Pollack isn’t a particularly tasty fish, however it’s great in a Thai curry sauce as it stays nice and firm.We (Martin) thought it was a trout but the local fisherman he showed it to said it was cod.

Still enjoying great weather! Scandinavia is enjoying some of the warmest temperatures it has seen for some time according to weather maps I've seen.
As is most of the rest of the world, with the exception of Greenland I think.
I’m loving the photos and looks like you are all having fun!I'm running out of enthusiasm cos most people reading on here are Morning peeps. BUT I'll carry on for a bit.

You don’t need to loose weight so Martin will have to be on serious fish catching!!! Can you forage food there?Anthea, fun is what we're having. We've never travelled together before, but a better combination couldn't be found. Equal maybe !!!
We're so compatible in so many ways. And the sharing of cooking has been made soo easy. We are, however, running out of imported food and drink, so soooon reports may be a little fraught when we have to purchase such things as cucumber at about £2.50 a piece etcetera, etcetera, etcetera!!!

Well done and a thimbleful of contraband as a reward?!!
Hope it’s a relatively simple job and isn’t too expensiveFirst hiccough of the day the Hagstroms van threw a wobbly and didn't want to start. An intermittent problem apparently.
Just got on the road when our battery symbol and STOP flashed on. We'd had a slight squeak under the bonnet for a day or two but things were now more serious.
Managed to park up and Martin and Norman investigated to find a belt split in two!!! Maybe more technical info input will be posted by those more in the know. This was the cause of no battery charging, no power steering etc.
Insurance in Madrid were called and they put in motion our recovery. Whilst we were waiting the heavens opened, so if we had to sit inside now was as good a time as any.

Taken from the comfort of Hagstrom's van.
We now have two nights at the garage, along with Ros and Norman who insist on staying with us, where, hopefully, we can get the belt replaced and hand over the credit card once more.
What is it with our van and Norway???
