The Big Lorry to Camper Conversion

So, long story short. Wanted a motorhome, ended up with a lorry. The body was rotten, kept it anyway. A quick camper conversion has spiraled out of control massively..... I've started the work already but I'll drip feed the photos over the next forever. Feel free to help and Enjoy.

You only had to read the first post ?‍♂️
sort of but not clear or is it me,? ? and remember our average age, ? ? ? ?

Great thread, obviously

Seems to me that you have got this totally under control

So have you actually finished the conversion? Have your photos caught up with actual progress now?

Glass in, this was by far the hardest part of the job. It came with frosted glass, didn't like the idea at first. Now it's in I'm happy with it.

Oh yes that window will let out all the gas out. Mind you that will need a very big gas truck to fill that big van.

That van is amazing. Got any more info on it?

This is a real UK van...

That looks like a Yank van. The campsite looks like Caravan Club - surprised it was allowed entry. Love the log burner chimney....might obstruct getting the awning out though :D2

Is the CC too precious to let any old yank tank in or something??

It is a yank van, but UK registered. If you look closely you can see 2 UK 3 pin sockets on the outside.. Think they are just ornaments though. :D

Only just caught up with this thread, loving it.
Me too, and really enjoying it thanks MANGOFORTH. (y)

It's far beyond anything I could/would ever tackle myself, but I wish you every success with the project, and am looking forward to following your progress, right through to the end result. :)

Good luck with it all. (y)

Jock. :)
