Sorry it's taken a while to get back to you. I am not sure what is being organised by @Popeye, but I am sure it's going to be good and he will tell us in good time to get our vans loaded and wardrobes ready!
 
Well I have already loaded my witch's cauldron ... bubble bubble etc here we come. :)
 
@Baycott please don't worry. Each meet is different but has the common factor that you do as much or as little as you want to. Always take a little extra food .. nothing expensive .. in case we have a buffet (crisps or cake or crackers and cheese or sausage rolls) but if you forget ..DON'T WORRY .. there is always a lot to nibble on. Because it is Hallo'een I guess take something Hallo eeny .. witch's hat for example. You will probably need chairs to sit on and mugs for coffee or tea to keep warm .. or a rug if we sit outside for your legs.

Hi just to say you put me down as 27 but on your list I'm number 29? Which one is right.
 
Right here we go peeps. An outline of the weekend below:

On arrival you will get a newsletter with all the timings etc and any useful information I can glean from the campsite.

Nearer the time I will be asking you for approximate arrival times, so your novice Marshals can be there to greet you. I will also let you know if you have to check-in with the campsite first, or if we are allocating your pitches. All will become clear in the fullness of time, I am sure it will:pray2::pray2:

Welcome Friday -an evening for meeting old and new friends, while enjoying wine and cheese nibbles, no need to bring anything (other than your best smiley face and a chair) unless you don't like cheese and wine!

Spooky Saturday - Witch and Warlock evening. Dress up as much or as little as you want and party with the Spooksters until your feet ache!

Social Sunday - there's a rumour of a Pumpkin whittling master class, if you fancy giving it a go, bring your own Pumpkin.

Sunday evening - A quiz followed by ..........more socialising of course.

Here's a little reminder of the campsite fees, payable on arrival -Pitch fees are £12.50/night, EHU is £5/night extra.
The deposit is £10/head & is for additional costs...marquee/food etc.

Hi there! As you will see from @Armytwowheels post there is a quiz on the Sunday evening. Those of you who have been to Chester and experienced my AWESOME quizzes will no doubt confirm that they are jolly good fun! There is NO cheating allowed (Fines imposed on anyone caught using a phone!) and top quality (!) medals and trophies for the winners. Just £1 per person, and ALL proceeds to go to @Jim's charity. You definitely don't need to be a member of Mensa, there will be something for everyone so make sure you come along. I'll be taking down names of those interested on the Saturday and we will aim to have a good mix of teams so that newbies will get to know some new friends! :hi5:

Has a anyone got a sound system, as in a mic and amp, that we could borrow for this meet please?
 
I have two amps here that didn't go with Our Little'un when he left to live with his girlfriend . I will test them out on my uke and if one of them works I'll bring it along. I don't think he has left any mics though.
