Tam &Toby do Europe ...Take two

Every time Gina peed I said ‘have a piss-gooood girl’ now she will piss to command-if she needs one, I also whistle softly thru my teeth, she gets idea.
Don’t try whistling if you need a pee too!

It's bloody freezing up here!!!
I can't believe the difference between the coast and the little bit inland I am at alhama de Granada. Cold all night and bitter this morning. I hope the sun hurries up and reaches my van lol.

Spent most of the afternoon and evening blethering with @Val 2 dogs and she gave me a lift from the aire up in to the town to see the view of the gorge etc.
I'm going to have a walk through the gorge with the pups this morning so will post pics later.

It's that much chillier coz it's only a bit under 3000 ft above sea level. Something like that shouldn't bother a rufty tufty Scotsman !
PS. My windscreen is brilliant. Thanks.:D

I've been used to a few weeks of decent temperatures ...was a bit of a shock to the system this morning I had to dig out blankets.

Nice walk through the gorge though and then around the old town. Lots of nice bits.

You're welcome regarding the windscreen , not sure how you could see out that lol

Just heard my new headlights are gonna cost €113 each, but got to go ahead as can't move the camper now anyway.:(

If you will get up and walk about in the small hours of the morning what do you expect. You must adapt -the day begins once the sun has warmed things up lol .

So we had a walk through the big gorge today past all the old mills etc , you can see some of the old stone sinks where the village women still washed clothes up to as late as the 1980's ...each family had their own sinks that they would pay the stonemason to carve for them. Then you to the village where there's some lovely old buildings and lots of renovation work in progress .

As I was out there early it's deserted lol hardly a soul about except some wild cats.
Well worth a visit if you're in this area. The aire isn't the best it's not level and it's a bit noisy etc but has all free facilities which is good.

So here's some pics and the aire

Did you get to speak with the people in that other camper that parked just in front of you with the Saltire sticker?

"The "old dude" was probably enjoying the warmth of the sun on his body and the air on his skin.
If we are "lucky"? we will grow old too, some of us sooner than others . Why shouldn't the elderly enjoy the pleasure of naturism?
I don't believe that younger voyeurs should be critical of what they see, if they don't like it avert the eyes and keep moving.
I've no objection to him going nude , I often use the nudist beaches myself.

But when someone fully clothed is sat on a rock with two dogs on a leash and you wander over so yer junk is level with their face so you can pat their dogs !!!

Eh naw thanks lol[/QUOTE]
Reminding me of when i was the trampoline coach for a national naturist event at the sports centre i worked at.
Normally a coach would stand on the floor and look up. Tuck jump was Ok, Pike jump was ok, Straddle jump ok i am now standing on the trampoline and coaching from there!!!!

Once that had finished there was the archery which i was also a coach. "Ladies, i suggest you wear a top" "We are naturists we dont wear tops" "Carry on then" TWANG. "Wheres my bloody top"

In the end they hired the sports centre once a month and the swimmng and sauna every week.

Well I left alhama de Granada this morning stopped at velez rubio for some lunch and a doggy walk then headed to @gus-lopez place in lorca .....I'm there now but I'm no sure he's in lol

At least it's sunny and a bit warmer here ...even had some light showers on the road and it was freezing at velez rubio

It's still chilly here, the sun has only managed to get out for a few minutes here and there but it's been mostly overcast with a chilly breeze.
I'm out with the dogs at the moment, when I got home yesterday evening the dogs went daft. Lass, the young one, was rushing about using the rugs as skateboards and taking the feet out from under poorold Nell, whothe was dancing around crashing into things and barking (or at least what passes as a bark for her) so I had to promise them a decent walk today hence I am down beside the lake dressed in several layers of thermals and a padded body warmer!
Maybe there is something to be said for Alicante and Benidorm. :cold:

Aye I couldn't believe how cold it was this morning ...I had to wear socks and a jumper ...nearly a jacket lol

Sooo you're not far from us, once again! Poor Richard, his place is becoming a "place to go" for poorly motorhomes . Hope he can get Toby sorted.
Ha ha yes I'm in lorca for a day or two as Richard kindly offered to help try and fix the alternator with me.
We got a good look at the part today and priced it up at a place nearby so will hopefully get somewhere with it tomorrow

..I'm there now but I'm no sure he's in lol
Siesta.

Yes, far warmer.I'd forgot how cold it can get when we went to Baza the Sunday before last. Thought I'd woken up in Scotland in December.:cold:

I've been used to a few weeks of decent temperatures ...was a bit of a shock to the system this morning I had to dig out blankets.

We were in Australia for 2 months Last year , the wife got so used to the heat that when we were climbing the Sydney harbour bridge she was complaining how cold it was and then pointed to a sign & said told you it’s cold look the sign says (wind chill factor 23deg) !!!!
