Hey Tam I remember you visited that Fort Bravo place last year. Think I'm heading there on Saturday but a bit confused as there seems to be 2 places that claim to be the film set. One guy I spoke to earlier said one is a cheap rip off.

Both places look to have handy parking areas but can you confirm which one I should be heading to?

Its 10km around the reservoir, we used to run it! NOTE the word used!!!

Lovely area but was touristy even in 2001. Hate to think what it's like today but may go back one day to find out. Reliving our past .

There's only one that's fort bravo....can't remember the name of the other one.

If you look on park4night it's the one that has the fort in the pictures

The town was quite busy today for this time of year

Close enough for a trip to Beni then.
Think I saw enough last year.

That's where Angela headed off to lol , she's desperate for a Sunday roast apparently

I'm going to meet Sharon from the doggy shelter tomorrow and will probably then stay over at villajoyosa for the night.
There's nothing in beni I want or need lol

We managed to avoid it so far, not sure if we are brave enoughtto give it a try.:)
Just got an update from Angela, she went to a campsite lol and says they wanted €28 A night for a space she could hardly open her door so she left and is in a carpark lol

Good for her - they more people who drive away the more chance the prices will come down.

€28! and that would have been the price of her Sunday roast.

Yo, another Fork Lift Truck good for her (y)

Oh and it gets better , it was €28 and then it said €1.80 for a dog
But the warden looked at nero and said oh he's a big dog €5

Ha ha ha €33 for one night jammed in a packed campsite.

Mental

I'll stick to my fur lined thong locations :p

All the best poeple are F'LT's

Couldn't agree more!
If the blokerror from the campsite really wants to see a BIG dog he should meet Linda, she is attached to the goats that come to the lake to drink every day,now she is seriously Big!

Yes, very nearly and I think she's less than a year old at the moment.
She does her job of warning strange dogs to keep away but she's really a big softie at heart and loves a cuddle and a fuss.:)

Seem to be quite popular in Spain as guard dog types. I've seen them all over watching over empty compounds. I saw this big friendly dude at an aire on Xmas day. It was closed and he was the only one on the go. I parked up outside for a kip.

I'd have thought that if it weighed under 2,5T then it is exempt ?

must have been, V reg is 1999/2000 at the latest
even if it was under, 2,5T & diesel is exempt.

€28! and that would have been the price of her Sunday roast.
Not in Beni. Get a decent one for around 7€.
I meant to say when you came here last year had you picked Jade up? I honestly can't remember ?

You get quite a few of those around here. One bloke at the other end of my road leaves 3 in to guard his cattle/Horses/donkeys/asses/jennies . You cannot tell them apart from the young cows/bulls

On the drive down here today i noticed I'm back in to this terrortiry

Yes, he looks a very similar type. Since meeting Linda I have noticed quite a few more in the vicinity. The ones around here seem to have the same black mask that Linda has, but of course it is not beyond the realms of possibility that they are all related.
I looked on the Internet and the only similar breed I came up with were Anatolian Shepherd Dogs (but I don't know how they would have become established in Spain)?

This was a visitor we had when staying in France a few years ago - a real gentle giant.
Our dog was labrador size as a comparison.

I'm sure I had a tenner on that at Plumton not long ago

Don't mean to lower the tone but how is waste dealt with from something that size? You would need someone following you in one of those bobcat things!

I'm pretty sure that's what jade's big friend "bear" at home was ...an Anatolian shepherd
He was 6 months old and level with my waist , paws as big as my feet practically

With carrier bags ....I've witnessed this and my vocal thoughts went something like " FCUK that for a game of sodiers" I'll stick to my little dogs thanks muchly.

Angela says it costs her about £150 a month to feed nero as she feeds him raw food like frozen chicken breasts etc.

Jades a feather weight in comparison

Had some pork steaks for dinner tonight thought I'd spice them up a bit with some cayenne pepper lol

Think i went a bit overboard my mouth is now on fire lol.
