Along the same lines - when we were in Southern Germany last month there was a card on the table advertising something called Summer Schone @ 5.40 euros per glass! The picture looked fabulous so I ordered one. It was lovely and as I was drinking it I read the recipe for it on the card. I now make it at home for a fraction of the price. Here's the recipe:

A measure of rose wine (up to you what a 'measure' is), about the same amount of tonic, mint leaves ripped, 1/2 slice lemon, crushed ice or just cubes. Stick a straw in, close your eyes, pretend you're on holiday.

€5.40 A GLASS!

That's ludicrous lol

Mercadona and Lidl do this stuff 1.5 litre bottles original €0.89 And 2 litre bottles with lemon €1.00

I guess when at home I could make it as probably can't buy it in the UK

Where have all the motorhomes gone?
I've not seen one in days...even in marbella i only saw maybe 2 in 5 days.

I just popped in to this free aire to empty cassette and top of my water and it's deserted.

Well it was a "Nice summer" for the vendor ;)

Do I need that to enter Morocco and return to Spain though?

In theory yes - you won't get checked going into Morocco and we've never been checked returning to Spain - but if they did you would need the titre test certificate. At the moment it's not a requirement to enter/return to the UK but if we end up with a no-deal Brexit it's likely to become one, though I can't see why, nothing else will have changed!

Yeah it looks like that's out then as I don't have the titre test certificate

Love the pictures of the lake Tam, they are very atmospheric with the low cloud hanging over the hills.
I suppose most of the Moho's have headed for somewhere cooler, July and August being the hottest months. That selfie doesn't show you at your best lol, though I am glad you still have both ears!
My lake is prettier than that one - though alas it has more tourists too. ;) :p

Well I've arrived in Seville after stopping for lunch in utrera.....we had went out for a wee walk there but Milo really struggling with the heat had to come back to van and fill shower tray with water and stand him in it.. Jade seemed fine which is really weird.

So anyway we've arrived in Seville...I'm parked up a side street next to the plaza de espana. It's showing 38° here on the pharmacy sign. Will go for a walk in the park later when it cools a bit as it's not too bad in the van at the minute .

Good idea to use the shower tray Tam.
I suppose as Milo is soo much smaller, his poor little leggys are having to work 3 or 4 times harder to achieve the same speed /distance.

Aye and when he decides he wants to get somewhere he's off lol ...pulls like a cart horse to get back to the van which doesn't help.

This park here is pretty shaded so should be okay in there.

My experience of Morocco is something I hope you will avoid..........

Very nearly drowned.
Very nearly drowned Mrs P in the process of nearly drowning myself.
Had the worst case of gastro-enteritis that is possible, without actually dying.
Wife hospitalised on return to UK

Maybe I should explain....... It was 1981 in Agadir, which was a shitehole in those days. We were on our honeymoon, and the return flight was the last one to land at Gatwick one very stormy night. Mrs P. ended up in Crawley hospital.

Can you imagine a worse honeymoon? ( Maybe an idea for a new thread!)

Seriously,I would not expect you to suffer the same fate these days,it’s all a lot cleaner Im told. But in my book it’s a long way to go to see goats that climb trees and some geezer playing a penny whistle to make a poxy snake rise from the pavement!!
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

How's this for cheeky.

I'm parked in the side street as shown above. Gets out the van to go walkies

I hear hola , hola , hola , hola and I think who the feck is this.

So some jakie comes up in a black t shirt bright red shorts and one eye going to the shop.

He says . Hablar espanol

I say ...no ..I know where this is going

He says...parking is €1 ...No €2

I say parking es gratuit tio

He says no you must give me €2 ...or you may get robbed.

I say ...I get robbed tio..I break your legs ?

Hasta la vista

He goes chasing after someone else ...hola , hola, hola , hola

Guy flicks his arm at him and walks off lol

These chancers are all over Spain and the police seem to not bother about them.
My van gets broken in to and he better not be trying his scam tomorrow or my baseball bat will be getting an outing.

That sorted him out then :)
Can't believe I just got back to the van and he came chapping at the door with the hand out again ....So I took his photo and told him if he comes back again I'm phoning police.

He left
20190704_195724.jpg

He's actually standing at the entrance to the street stopping or trying to stop every car that comes in lol.

Most of these guys at least wear a high viz vest to try and look official ...this guy just tries it on regardless lol

Park4night mentions a chancer but says he goes home at 5 lol....it's 8pm now

Looks like he’s already behind bars ?
