Tam &Toby do Europe ...Take two

So,is that three days then?:D

Don't know if it's all of Spain, but holidays and shops are closed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Valencia / Alicante regions. (y) Bob.
Surely if it is Monday ,Wednesday & Friday up your end nothing will happen all week as they'll take Tuesday & Thrsday as well & have a 'viaducto'?

Does no one else see the irony in having a day off for Labour day

Top marks for the person who thought that up

It's surprising in Scotland sometimes. My usual time for going north was always late April and late September, I've been swimming in the sea at durness in early October and it's been comfortable.
Sometimes the weather in Scotland can surprise you..but generally the summer months are wet

We're at Durness at the moment - just getting ready to go fishing up on the loch. There's not a cloud in the sky and is already very warm and its only 7.30am! We've spent the last month in Scotland and the weather has been fantastic - I think we've just struck lucky though.

About 7 years ago we had a couple of weeks in Scotland in April, never dropped below 20° and a couple of days at 25/26°.
Decided too risky to go back again, it would never happen again. Also managed a holiday in Ireland without rain, not been back for the same reason.

Yep like I said April and September are the best months for Scotland

But don't tell everyone

Quite cold up there though so didn't fancy stopping overnight so I'm about 2 or 3km outside grenoble tonight

This picture was taken in September 2009 at the Col de Lauteret, our 5'er is on the opposite side of the road to where yours is parked, covered in snow in your pic, we were on our way to Croatia.

An interesting area that you could visit on the way to Spain is the area just north of Mont Ventoux called the Baronnies.
This church is at Pierrelongue

The dogs always look happy with you Tam, the three of you make a good team.:D
Have a quick look at the dog thread,I have a new addition to the family as of a couple of hours ago.
All that can be said is that at least her first few weeks she has been with her mother.

PS I believe there is another pup still available if anyone is in the Granada area.
