There's a lotta vans here , went out earlier with Jackie and came back to 3 French vans squeezed in her space and a chair reserving a space for a 4th , the chair was promptly moved and much to the objection of the older French woman we got Jackie's van back In.

Just checked and she was on the next bay, but she’s moved on now.

You may see the van around though so keep a look out… she’s on german plates but speaks very good English and we know each other very well… she’s a bit of a hippy chick…

Had a walk along the cliffs this morning to the castillo on the hill at san Juan de los terranos, Jackie was crapping herself on the cliffs , passed a nice old merc , chatting to the owner for a bit , definitely makes me want to do mine.

Also saw a cracking American schoolie

Stopped for a coffee at a wee souvenir shop so I got my mum a concrete squirrel for her garden ...that was fun to carry 5km back to the van

These frenchies next door are driving me nuts , no bloody manners , they've already forced Jackie to move as their untrained brats kept banging against her van , I went out for 10 minutes on the scooter came back and they were trying to fit a 7 metre motorhome in the tiny space they had left Jackie. It was literally a foot from my door, so once again I've upset the neighbours by telling them to sod off. I hate people that come on to a spot lots of others were at first then take over and disturb everyone else it's really ignorant.

When we were young and fit and still competing in orienteering events, we used to live near Aguilas and regularly ran on that cliff path to San Juan and back. Wouldn't try it now though. I've found out about broken bones now .

Ela is just the right height to rest your arm on

They seem to be getting worse, when we toured Spain/Portugal this year for the first time we fell out with the frenchies on 3 separate occasion, on one small aire with 4 places a German in one and a French in another with his car trailer in another and his car in another after a heated discussion he begrudgingly moved his car, some of them are just plain bloody stupid
