Thankfully it's not that bad. It's still 18° and sunny , just the odd light shower . A 20 minute walk however resulted in very muddy boots and jeans splashed with mud . We are now in Puerto mazzaron parked on a small street near the beach . The new restrictions have had the effect I thought they would and now the carparks are empty and several side streets have lines of motorhomes , I've fortunately found one that's just me and one other van but round the corner there's a line of 5 German and 3 Spanish vans

You continue past the erosions up the hill and then down the other side until you can't go further because of the gate. It's on P4N.

Is that the one that says room for 4 vans , there were a few vans driving around so I figured there probably wouldn't be any space. But to be honest where I am just now isn't bad . Beach on my doorstep with benches to sit in the sun . And a nice walk along to the town . Will do me tonight

Probably. At this time of year it's the luck of the draw. Getting there at change over time is key.

There is a small place higher up. It's not been found by P4N but we've walked through and it's the sort of place we'd stay if we found it in another area.

If you're good where you are, it's probably best to stay put.

Few pics from today so far followed the coast up from San Juan to bolnuevo, stopped there for lunch and a walk around , few photos of the erosions to see how they've changed in 4 years ... been raining so ground very muddy . State of my boots and jeans lol .

While I was having lunch mum thought she'd remind me what I was missing

And then I moved a few km up to Puerto de mazarron. Want near the beach and carparks now have restrictions so found a quiet street near the beach and I'm parked there , cracking view out my lounge window though

So I'll stay here tonight.

Just off for a walk along the front. Might have a beer

Same here, took my two dogs for a walk across the fields this morning and the little one ran back to the house

Ela is still limping sometimes it seems OK then others it's very noticeable, but still she bounds around and pulls etc. Not sure if it just needs rest or if she's done damage somehow. But she doesn't want to be left behind when we go for a walk etc so it's hard to know what's best. I should hopefully hear from the vet in the next week so I'll wait and see how she is but might need to get them to look at it when we go to collect results.

We've been for our afternoon walk along the beach towards the town.

I was in a vest top , shorts and sandals , I passed a woman fishing , wearing jeans ,big boots a hoody, a puffer jacket and a big wooly hat lol , then on the way back we went to see the beach at the other end of the street which is lovely .

The Dutch sprinter has now left so I'm the only van in this street , even better

Well it is winter, I remember my first trip to Spain back in the early 80's I was in St Sebastian in December. Couldn't sleep too warm (not many hotels had aircon then) at midnight I went for a walk and coffee in short sleeves all the locals had big heavy overcoats on and I got funny looks.

Well that's bad news but I've just had a text from lebara stating I'm exceeding the fair usage on my tablet sim and they'll start charging me in 2 weeks time. That means I'm only going to have my data allowance on my fone which at present is not enough.
