I've attempted to walk up there twice so far . But both times in the height of summer. Failed both times.

But I might give it a go again over the next day or two . I'm not moving now till weekend

She said 11 days not counting weekends , they won't be sent to the lab till Friday and recieved Saturday so counting from then I figured I should hopefully hear back by a fortnight on Monday so by Christmas hopefully. I then need to return to either campasol or Puerto de mazarron to have passports filled in .

Just got to Hope they have enough antibodies , she was a little concerned that jade and milo last vaccination was in July 2020 but can't be helped.

Had I thought about it I could have had them all given a vaccine when in Ireland and then the bloods taken here but that didn't actually occur to me .

But you would like to think if a vaccine was meant to be safe for 3 years that it would offer a good level of protection for that time . So can only wait and see . I'll be gutted if they fail or even if one fails it as that will scupper our plans for this trip.

I'm carrying 5 fishing rods in this van I really should use them at some point lol.

Those fish always look like really easy targets as their so close to the harbour wall etc ... but I suppose looks can be deceiving. I do always wonder why there isn't anyone trying to catch them there.
On our last trip to Spain we were looking at a big shoal of mullet just off the sea wall when a friendly Spanish local came over for a chat. He told us the fish are notorious for hanging around the sewer outlet pipes and feeding on the raw sewage so most people in the know won't eat them.

Yes I know what you mean but them vaccines last long the 3 year thing is just for safety I think they'll all be fine,
I'm starting to look at dates myself now for heading out after Christmas

Yes I would hope so , otherwise what's the point in having them . But can only wait and see. It's a lot of cash for them to fail so everything is crossed lol

If any of them do fail of course I'll have to get them done again before going home but it does mean I wouldn't get to Morocco on this trip.

But I'd get there next time at least.

What date are you looking at going?

I'm nervous about going over as it's new territory, don't know the currency or language etc lol but I'm looking forward to exploring it , different culture

Wonder if this makes any sense to you... lol

Busy here now , cars started arriving around 7am , I asked someone and I think he said parade starts around 9am so just having a quick coffee before heading off . The air is filled with the smokey smell of bbq and there's Spanish guitars and other instruments. Looking forward to this it looks buzzing.

There's a Mass in the church at, I think 8 a.m. and then the procession starts. There are fireworks at times, so keep the dogs close 💜
Yeah we got a bit of video of the float coming out of the church and through the gate and then followed it down about 1km lots of doggies there too , didn't follow all the way down as its very slow.

Back to van for a coffee and a walk up to Jesus, im going to take scooter down to town later to have a look around

That's not like the Spanish, they have left you room to get out.
Yes I had to keep telling folk it was OK to block us in as not going anywhere. They were being very considerate
