Tam n pups winter trip 2022

It can’t be that cold as folk are in short sleeves shirts?
You saw people?

Everyone here is in coats hats and scarves lol. I think I was the least dressed having only a hoodie on but it was only 11° .no one about here in story sleeves

Sounds cold for there but I expect you didn't get there until late in the day.

Friends of ours went away in October using car and hotels. They found it very difficult to find places to eat open when they wanted to eat. I’m so glad we have our own facilities.
We did that one year around the same time and I absolutely hated it, everywhere was closed. I hate hotels so that didn't help.

Pics of today

Last nights aire ,

Few pics from milau

And some from narbonne which is lovely but difficult to photograph and they are setting up all the Christmas Market and carnival etc just now but will look lovely when they're done.

We're parked up fairly central at the swimming pool. About 7 or 8 other motorhomes here View attachment 692424View attachment 692425View attachment 692426View attachment 692427View attachment 692428View attachment 692429View attachment 692430View attachment 692431View attachment 692432View attachment 692433View attachment 692434View attachment 692435View attachment 692436View attachment 692437View attachment 692438View attachment 692439View attachment 692440View attachment 692441View attachment 692442View attachment 692443
Lovely photos again. I am intrigued as to what was going on in the glass dome were they real people?

That's the Range Rover, the other wee lady gets about 17 or 18 so yours at 20 isn't good lol

Something not right there Tam, hopefully when you get to where your heading you'll get a decent bit of time to look at it and sort it out 👍
Ach I only ever got 25mpg with the hymer and it was lighter and shorter so I don't expect I'd get much more to be honest

We have started a house / pet sit today in Javea for a week, just looked 😲☔ next 3 days rain, 😉 but even worse we have guests in our apartment arriving tonight for a week ............ hope it's not followed you down here. 🤔😁 Bob.

Sunny up here tomorrow but rain forecast for 2 days after but it won't be like Irish rain I'll bet , I'll be heading sitges/tarragona tomorrow I think

I need a vets within the next 5 or 6 days I think if I've any hope of getting these blood tests done and results back by Christmas. And I need one around the alicante murcia region I think as I don't want to have to drive to far back up to collect results .

We are going to Pets World at La Zenia Boulevard tomorrow for Molly’s pet passport. It was easy to make an appointment online, & they do 3 year rabies jabs, so fingers crossed! We will probably stay over in the car park at La Zenia, if it’s still ok. Anyone know?

You couldn't ask while you're there how much they charge to do a tire test for rabies and how long it takes them for results?

Gorgeous Tam some of the buildings there are amazing. Lovely blue sky too, now I am starting to get jealous:giggle:
A few of the buildings including the cathedral were game of thrones locations , this is my 3rd time in gerona but parked more central this time , I'm in the big park opposite the old town so just 5 minutes from it .

The official aire is 3km away and between 2 busy roads so didnt fancy that again

We use a couple of vets, the best one and 😉 cheapest is a Romanian mobile vet Nico that uses various practices if need be, we used him to take a couple of lumps off our Izzy and he did that on our patio while she was on Janie's lap, where as the other vet wanted to keep her in overnight and put her under, we didn't want that and she is 13. 🤔

He has been in Spain about 20 years, and speaks English get in touch and see what he says. 🙂 Bob.

Could you ask him for me Bob?

Littlewheels had suggested one in xalo but we have not been able to get hold of them.

OK nay bother
The system usually tests on a Monday and a Friday (don't know why that is but that's what I've been told) so if you get the samples put in on a Monday the results should be ready for the following Friday, they will email you the results so you won't need to worry about going back up to the original vets but you will need another vet where you are when you receive the results back to check your results officially and stamp them into your pet passport cost for titre tests approx €55 a pop then whatever the vet signing them into their respective passports fee ( shouldn't be more than 30 or 40 Yo-Yos)
Ps ring me if you need any more info 📞
