Where is that ?OK nay bother
The system usually tests on a Monday and a Friday (don't know why that is but that's what I've been told) so if you get the samples put in on a Monday the results should be ready for the following Friday, they will email you the results so you won't need to worry about going back up to the original vets but you will need another vet where you are when you receive the results back to check your results officially and stamp them into your pet passport cost for titre tests approx €55 a pop then whatever the vet signing them into their respective passports fee ( shouldn't be more than 30 or 40 Yo-Yos)
Ps ring me if you need any more info

P.s I cannae find your number , its somewhere in the pm messages but theres a few of them lol
Not here they don't There are only 2 official testing centres with EU accrediation in the whole of spain to my knowledge. It cannot be done at any laboratory & 3 weeks is the normal turn around & although my vet emailed me a copy of the result the original is what is required & so must either be collected or posted. I'd collect as at 130€/per dog it doesn't want to disappear in the post.OK nay bother

Here is the list of approved labs.
https://food.ec.europa.eu/animals/m...-rabies-serology-laboratories-eu-countries_en
2 in spain ,1 in Granada & 1 in Valencia. I don't know how you get yours so quick as in Ireland there are no approved labs they have to be sent to the UK. Surrey or Edinburgh
UK is on "Non-EU " list & only 3 in the UK

No other titre tests are acceptable
They all already have Spanish passports and have all been vaccinated its only the titre tests I need doneAs l understand it Tam needs the Dogs to get EU/Spanish Passports, no problem but he needs the Titre Rabies Test in addition totally aside from the Passport and this can take time as the Test thought done by the Vat has to be sent to a specific Laboratory of which there are few.
If anyone can recommend or better still organise appointments in the area he is in at a good price if possible please assist him.
Tam, hope this is okay just trying to simplify it.Brian.
Janie has messaged him,not had anything back yet, but she has gone down the apartment to see the guests in, I will let you know. Bob.Could you ask him for me Bob?
Littlewheels had suggested one in xalo but we have not been able to get hold of them.

To get back in to Spain from MoroccoWithout wishing to cause confusion Why do you need the Titre test as they already have pet passports ?
If you go out with europe you may need to prove they are rabies free on return , so Morocco and turkey in particularThe passports alone are not enough ?
Is that a thing particular to Morocco
To prove the vaccine has done its job and they have antibodies in their blood.Without wishing to cause confusion Why do you need the Titre test as they already have pet passports ?

Yes but he does not offer the service anymore as it was too complicated/time consuming & he couldn't really earn money as the lab fee was the 128€ I paid for just one dog.Richard do you have a vet you use in lorca?
Problem is sylvia doesnt speak much English and my Spanish is very limited, hence me trying to find folk who live out here to suss out a vet for me, I figured it would be easier, I will give sharon a call though who works with sylvia and see if she has any recommendations, meanwhile any expats who now live in Spain that could ask their vets it would be much appreciated.Yes but he does not offer the service anymore as it was too complicated/time consuming & he couldn't really earn money as the lab fee was the 128€ I paid for just one dog.
What about sylvi who you got Milo & Jade from?
Hi, when I was looking for info on getting my dog into, and more importantly, out of Morocco I found a useful article from a vet in Tarifa. https://www.veterinario-tarifa.com/en/travel-with-your-pet.html I don't think this link is working but it is on the Morocco 23 thread. There was a lot of info in English and they mentioned the Titre test. I would think with their close proximity to Morocco they would have come across the need for this more often than some vets. Might be worth dropping them an email. Hope you get sorted.Problem is sylvia doesnt speak much English and my Spanish is very limited, hence me trying to find folk who live out here to suss out a vet for me, I figured it would be easier, I will give sharon a call though who works with sylvia and see if she has any recommendations, meanwhile any expats who now live in Spain that could ask their vets it would be much appreciated.
Have you ruled out 'cougars' then?Buenos Amigo's estamos en sitges.
Another of my favourite towns in northern spain, now if I was in any way attracted to older men I'd hang around here find myself a sugar daddy ( of which there would be no shortage for this fine scottish specimen) who would buy me a morello and a Harley........but alas I'm more of a cradle snatcher myself so I'll most likely stay for lunch and we will have a walk around and that will be that
We are all aware of your sexual orientation but just as an observation l think you are the first one to come out on Fun?Buenos Amigo's estamos en sitges.

Yes I'm afraid I still have the attraction span I had in my 30's which generally means I have a lot of casual encounters and short term flings lol rather than anything more substantial but hey ho somewhere out there someone wants a non rich daddy lolHave you ruled out 'cougars' then?
Judging by the multi million euro mansions around here I think theres probably a few stars live here, it is a nice wee town though from what I remember, but theyve stopped the parking where I was the last time I was here so we are a few streets back from the seafront , still it's a nice walk. Will probably head to tarragona to stay overnight thoughShoot for the stars
