Tam n pups winter trip 2022

Safe journey Northernraider hope weather improves for you. Holyhead is the biggest dump i have ever been in, well one of the top 10 for only go back if essential.

I absolutely agree spent the night there before ferry to Ireland a few years ago, what a shit hole.
Told Tam that when I had a chat with him this morning, decent restaurants don't exist (I was on my way to Ireland when I used to that four letter "W" thing)

Here he's slightly off course . ... needs to go 2° right lol

Stay safe you and the pups Tam. Last time I was on a ferry on that crossing my boyfriend spent the whole time in the toilet being sick, I had to keep sending his friend in to check he was ok:sick:
Thanks for that lol

I'm in bed , watching a movie

If you weren't a stowaway on the car deck you wouldn't hear them.

Feck sake , well this could be interesting ... I'm boarded and right at the front of the fecking boat half on the open deck. 😡😡 I asked if he could put me back a bit behind the trucks and he said no . Feckin banker!! And it's meant to be stormy . Dogs won't be happy.
I didn't say anything earlier but we had our MH placed like this many years ago but at the time we didn't realise that our dog Lily would be so terrified as she'd never shown any signs of being bothered previously even though we weren't with her. She was literally scared silly for life and we had loads of problems with her from then on and ended up never being able to use ferries for anything other than a VERY short crossing where she was up top with us and even then she was petrified.

I hope your pooches are okay - at least they had you with them.

Not as cold or as damp over here , I've had to mop loads of condensation off my windows every morning for the last 2 weeks , this morning not a drop. 12° man that's almost summer.

I wasn't parked where I was meant to ...about 100 yards up the road is the carpark with 3 other MH on it . This wee bit I pulled in to is like a boat graveyard in daylight. But it served a purpose .

Just having breakfast then I'm gonna head off .

Filled up with lpg again at a wee coal merchant place, it only took 10l but I wasn't sure as heating been on every night the last week. The guy very kindly offered for me to fill up my water tank and bottles too so all set now bar some diesel. It's wild out there though very very strong winds and it'd lashing down now. I've 335 miles to do today as planning to park up around arundal tonight . Hoping the wind buggers off as it'd not pleasant to drive in

We have a yellow weather warning here in SW Scotland for strong winds this morning. Calm as a mill pond

Tam, if you are going down the M40 wait till you get to Banbury if you can and fill up at the Tescos just as you get to the town proper, by the way is that Lenny's pad in the background?
