Tam n pups winter trip 2022

On our April/May trip this year we gave up with cold Spain and went back to France for some nice warm weather.
And just spent October in France apparently Hottest October on record.
Poor Tam , we just spend 2 months in Spain with no rain, mostly between 24 and 29 Celsius, however it had finally turned into cold and wet, mind you, I am sure it will recover before Scotland does lol😎

It has to be better than Scotland and definitely warmer than feckin Ireland, I've had my heating on every night the last week . Bloody freezing

Jade and milo now done 25 countries , ela has done 10 lol .

Just caught up from 2 weeks ago as I've been busy.
Reading your exploits in Ireland it seems the weather killed it for you, yet there was a lovely selection of old buildings and my favourite castles.
Not sure about Ireland but I suppose it should be ticked off our list and we would do a campsite or 2 as we have the black tank that needs an empty every week.
Now a random question 🙂

Is it very difficult to find a service point in greece out of season.

I hope Morocco works out for you and the tribe. Happy travelling and keep up the great posting.

Yes, we only has a cassette but do carry a spare one of the biggest challenges in Greece was emptying the the cassette. Water was easy to find public taps in villages and on the beaches. Mazbags is a good source of info and they have done it in an RV.

Thanks lenny.

As lenny says yes it's hard although there are a few campsites here and there that are open. Water is easy. Grey disposal is easy but for wildcamping which is also easy black waste is difficult. I used my own method of avoiding that but its not for everyone.

Beautiful sunny day today , and no wind . We came to visit howth ,still can't believe the amount of tourists , mostly Americans but loads of Chinese and Eastern Europeans too dressed up like they're in the North Pole most of them lol , lovely little Austin 7 ....New cars just don't have the same charm as old stuff.

Really getting worried about mums eyesight ...I sent her this pic of the dogs , her reply " milo is looking awfully white " 😱 and she wasn't kidding. Her knee is coming on great but her other issues not so great lol

Awk Tam your leaving just as the weather's getting nice! 🤣😂🤣

Meant to say Tam when your heading to the port later if you want to avoid the Dublin tunnel toll charge you might want to go down through Coolock, Clontarf direction to Tolka road east wall way you'll avoid the tunnel (€10 is €10!) Lol

Think of the laugh that would have given us, Tam having to fork out for a toll.

Yeah my satnag is set no tolls I'm in the port now at the terminal building for Irish ferries , all the gates etc closed so I'm guessing mine is the earliest next boat.

If your wondering if your in the right place Ulysses is approaching her berth now arriving 17.30 so you'll soon see her from your van

All I can see is a sea of trucks over a fence lol . Not even sure if I'm on ulysses. Unlike stenaline etc ye get no updates or emails from Irish ferries lol .

Not even port directions.

But I did check in terminal and I'm at the right place so I'm first in the queue for check In when they open around 7pm

Just making my dinner now
