Looks like it's on time Tam, been interesting read certainly a different trip to ours, but we knew we was lucky with the weather we even thought about buying there ............ so glad we decided on Spain.

But all joking aside it hasn't put us off, but probably June again.

Good stuff .

I think summer time it would be different. I enjoyed the experience and it's another country off my list. But I'm not sure I would rush back anytime soon .

Meh this ship can't be that impressive. According to satnag its only 73 miles to holyhead. 3 hours 25 minutes lol

Milo could swim it faster.

Safe journey Northernraider hope weather improves for you. Holyhead is the biggest dump i have ever been in, well one of the top 10 for only go back if essential.

The town is not worth the stop, but drive for 10 minutes and there is some nice countryside and beaches.
Have you got an overnight stop planned ?

Feck sake , well this could be interesting ... I'm boarded and right at the front of the fecking boat half on the open deck. I asked if he could put me back a bit behind the trucks and he said no . Feckin banker!! And it's meant to be stormy . Dogs won't be happy.

They should be OK Tam inside the bilge is a lot louder with the banging of chains and waves against the Hull, better in a bit of open air where the noises disperse better

Beautiful sunny day today , and no wind . We came to visit howth ,still can't believe the amount of tourists , mostly Americans but loads of Chinese and Eastern Europeans too dressed up like they're in the North Pole most of them lol , lovely little Austin 7 ....New cars just don't have the same charm as old stuff.

Really getting worried about mums eyesight ...I sent her this pic of the dogs , her reply " milo is looking awfully white " and she wasn't kidding. It's mostly trucks there's only 3 motorhomes. Quite a few cars but the rest is lorries. One artic in front of me and then from my cab doors forward is on open deck . Buggers
