Why the long face? 😉

They want €12 per person to park in that carpark these days ....not per vehicle which would be bad enough to walk to see what is effectively a free inherited natural site. But €12 per person lol

These people should be publicly stoned.

Access to the cliffs themselves is actually free but they make sure theres nowhere to park nearby that isnt charging highway robber prices.

If the weather is too bad to walk to them from doolin (3 hour round trip) I'll just be giving them a miss lol

After all it is just a cliff.
Scooter?

Never seen Doolin looking so wet 😐
Supposed be like this! LolView attachment 679994

Theres another parking spot nearer hags head that I might try to park up at tomorrow and then we can walk up and see the tower etc and a bit of the cliff walk from the other direction .

It's still the same , I suspect it has a sticky Wastegate on the turbo but not easy to access so cant do much about it just now

I'm in a petrol station doing my laundry at one of the outdoor machine setups. The garage has a small car valeting section. A farmer has just dropped of the muckiest massey fergusson tractor you've seen and the valleter is doing the inside of it lol . Cleaning the windows etc ...it will be minging again in an hour 🤣🤣

There's a different sort of Vario here for you Tam - if you want the Mad Max look! ::bigsmile:

It looks like the kind of thing one of those American nutjobs who is preparing for a nuclear holocaust - "Preppers" - would buy and fill with tins of food and assault rifles!

Aye I seen that a few weeks back , it's well ugly but 4x4 so someone will buy it and swap the body most likely

So we got laundry done , bit of shopping in aldi , I squeezed myself in the only carpark in town which was a little nerve racking but we managed to park long enough to walk in to town and to the amazing cascades. Ireland really does not like dogs , fed up with the really threatening signs everywhere its beyond a joke but anyway we survived. I'll upload pics in a bit , just having our very late lunch before we head out for afternoon walkies. Parked up at a wee beach at doonbeg at the minute
